Oh how I loved this mini drama! It was such a delight to watch! It was fun but also deep and girl power!!! I loved the womance! Three cheers for this drama!

Story: The story was great! It had romance and suspense and sisterhood and I loved it! The pacing was great and this mini drama was really well-written. The love triangle was so good, I had no idea which couple I should root for. I liked them both! But the womance! I've seen plenty dramas with good bromance but this is the first one in which I loved the two girls together! They were really like sisters. I loved their fights and bickering and how they cared for each other so much. They worked together to survive the big bad world of fashion.

Actors/Characters: Hong Hara was so likable and cute! I was really impressed with Yura! Being an idol I expected her to be meh but she did a really good job! Her acting was great and she played Hara really well. Hara was a very real character. She was flawed and jealous but also nice and caring. She seemed very human and relatable.

Do Ra Hee was a great character! She was strong and a bit crazy but underneath it all she was so nice and caring and naive and loving. She was really well-written and Shin So Yul played her really well!

No Choel was a coward. And at times I hated him very much! But then he did something that made me go 'awww!'. He cared for both girls and I think he truly did like, if not love, them both. I had no idea that No Cheol was played by Yoo Min Kyu who was one of the band members in Shut Up Flower Boy Band. I only realized that after I read that in a comment. He looked very different here! I think he did a better job in SUFBB but he was okay in this one too.

Overall: This mini drama rocked! Hara and Ra Hee were the stars of this drama and I loved every bit of their story! I would highly recommend it to fans of romantic comedies who like girl power and womance.

I didn't really want to write a review for this drama because I loved it so so sooo much that I wouldn't be able to write an unbiased review. I overlooked all the flaws (if there were any) and to me this drama was PERFECT!

Then why am I still writing this, you ask? Because I think this drama is underrated and people need to know about it. And so, as any good fan would do, I'm here to spread word about this drama so all of you who haven't already watched it, would watch it, and fall in love with Queen In Hyun's Man! (And Queen In Hyun herself too, of course ;) )

The story was perfect! It had suspense, action, romance, cuteness, sexiness, seriousness, drama, humour... and gosh, it was just perfect! I'll be honest, I don't like historical dramas much. Neither do I like action. So I went into this drama with very little hopes of liking it. To my surprise, I loved the historical aspects of it! I even enjoyed the action scenes! The whole time-travelling thing was dealt with very wisely and wasn't confusing or absurd. There is enough suspense to keep you interested. Enough romance to make you go 'Awww!' This drama had everything I look for in a drama!

The acting was amazing! I loved seeing Yoo In Na in a lead role! I've seen her playing supporting roles in a couple of dramas (Secret Garden, You Who Came From The Stars) and I liked her but I didn't know she was this good! She was cute and sassy and I loved her from the very first scene! I also saw that she was very much like me...

I've never seen Ji Hyun Woo before. In fact, I didn't even know about him. Either way, he was brilliant in his role as Kim Boong Doo! And gosh his smile! And the way he looks at Yoo In Na, oh I mean Choi Hee Jin ;) And his double-eyed wink!

One thing I really really liked was that the drama centered more on Kim Boong Doo. That he was the main protagonist. Usually the drama revolves around the girl, but this drama was about the guy. Which was very refreshing to see.

I loved the music in this drama! From the instrumentals to the songs, I loved each and every track on the OST! I especially love how each song holds special meaning. The music is beautiful!

The romance is no less than epic! Everything about this couple is epic! The best part is that they turned into a real-life couple after the drama! My new favourite OTP!

All the other characters were great too! Not much attention was given to the side characters and they were only used to build the story. Some people might not like this but I'm glad they did this because our main characters had much going on in their lives, the last thing the viewers would need is another side story to catch up on.

As I said before, this drama was perfect. And you NEED to watch it! NOW!

I really liked this drama. But after all the hype, I expected something better. This wasn't that original either. It was like 50 % Secret Garden, 30 % Ghost Whisperer and 20 % Master's Sun. Even then, I really liked it and enjoyed watching it a lot!

Story: This drama wasn't scary at all. Maybe there were some scenes that could be considered scary, but they didn't scare me much. The story was very much like Secret Garden, especially the last part. And the ending was very rushed. But the mystery of Joong Won and his dead girlfriend was very interesting. And they executed that pretty well.

Romance: I liked the love triangle. It wasn't much of a triangle though because it was obvious that Gong Shil didn't like Kang Woo that much. The chemistry between Joong Won and Gong Shil was pretty good. All the touching made for some pretty funny scenes and I really liked the romance.

Characters: I really liked all the characters. But the only person for whom I watched this drama was little Man Se (Lee Do Hyun as Lee Seung Mo)! I loved him in PM&I and I wanted to see him again so I watched Master's Sun. He was adorable in this drama too!

I loved Joong Won! I think this has more to do with So Ji Sub being so good looking! But the character wasn't that bad either. I didn't like Gong Shil at first but I loved her transformation and was so glad that she changed. I loved Kang Woo! Again, that had more to do with him being played by Seo In Guk. But I really liked his scenes with Yi Ryung. It was weird seeing Eun Sang's mother from Heirs in this drama playing such a different role. Her husband was pretty funny. All in all, I really liked all the characters.

Final Verdict: Overall, this was a really good drama! It was funny and cute and mysterious and I really enjoyed watching it! Highly recommended!

Skip Beat was my first Asian drama and I loved it! I stumbled upon it by accident. I was looking for a new anime to watch and I had heard that Skip Beat was pretty good. But I didn't like the animations of Skip Beat. So I didn't watch the anime. But I was looking up information about it on Wikipedia and came to know that it had a live action drama. I snooped around some more and saw the posters. The guys were pretty cute so I decided to give the drama a try.

I was hooked from the first episode! I loved the story and the concept! But more so, I loved Ivy Chen! She's so cute and lovable! I absolutely adored her! She's a great actress. She was not afraid to make a fool of herself on camera and she played the character really well. I decided to watch the show because of the boys but it's Ivy Chen's acting that kept me watching till the end.

A long time ago I watched a Korean music video on TV. The song title was Bonamana but I didn't remember the artist. I really loved that song but since I don't know Korean at all and I thought it would be weird for me to listen to a song in a language I don't even understand, I ignored it. When I started watching Skip Beat I came to know that the actors who played Lian (Siwon) and Bo Pu Shang (Donghae) are from the same band, Super Junior. The name sounded familiar but I wasn't sure where I had heard it. I was looking through Super Junior music videos on YouTube and I came across Bonamana. Imagine my surprise when I realized that it was the same song I had loved all those years ago! Since now I don't care what other people think about me, I have all of Super Junior albums! BTW if you were wondering, my favorite is Donghae ? So this show introduced me to K-pop :D

Lian was so charming! Though my favorite will always by Donghae, if I had to chose between characters I would chose Lian. Siwon played him really well! Another memorable character for me was Lian's manager. The faces he made were priceless! I really liked him!

I loved Qin's and Gong Xi's friendship! Though they had a rough start, they became the best of friends later on and it was really sweet. Bianca Bai is a great actress!

I couldn't hate Bo Pu Shang. As much as I wanted to, I just couldn't do it! Donghae was just too adorable! I found myself wanting Shang to come to his senses (which he did) and realize that he actually loved Gong Xi. I wish Bo Pu Shang/Donghae had had more camera time. I would've liked to see more of him.

The comedy was pretty good. I found myself laughing out loud on many occasions, but there were instances when I rolled my eyes and was like "Seriously?!" 'cause something was too stupid. But it can be overlooked because I've gotten used to 'stupid' (since I have to deal with it daily).

Another problem that I had with the drama was that the graphics weren't that good. Plus Lian's dubbing was noticeable. The second one didn't bother me much though because I didn't understand the language anyway and I watched the drama with English subs. The thing that bothered me the most was the transition of music. It wasn't done well. A music piece or song would be playing and suddenly it would come to an abrupt end and the next song would start. I really didn't like that. An example would be the last (kiss) scene between Gong Xi & Lian.

I hate that the show was left so open-ended without any hope of a second season :( I wish there would be a second season!

My favorite scene (and a scene I still remember) was the one when Gong Xi is helping Lian practice for his role and Lian hugs her on the floor and asks her if she wants him to teach her how to kiss. It was so romantic and cute! I loved it!

I loved loved loved the music! Not just the opening (SOLO by Super Junior M) and closing (That's Love by Donghae and Henry) themes but the whole OST. I can't stop listening to it!

The was such a different and refreshing drama! Especially the romance. No stupid miscommunication, no disrespect, no unnecessary drama. The couple had real problems and they solved them like real, mature people. It sucks that this drama wasn't very popular and they had to cut down the episodes. But even after the episode cut it was really good and definitely became one of my favorites!

Story: Ex Girlfriend Club had a pretty unique story. It may seem typical but the way it played out was very different. It involved real-life problems but in an exaggerated way so it wasn't exactly a slice of life but the exaggeration made it interesting instead of unbelievable. I loved the conflicts and how our main characters overcame them. There was never a dull moment and the story was pretty interesting.

Actors/Characters: I loved all the different characters we got to see in this drama. Each girl had her own unique personality and quirks and the best part was that all of them were flawed, real characters. They had some good traits and some bad which made them real people and hence easy to sympathize with.

Romance: This was my favorite part of the drama. It was just so sweet and comfortable and real. It's the kind of relationship I dream of having. Myung Soo and Soo Jin were such good friends and so comfortable with each other. They loved each other in more than just a romantic way. They're definitely one of my all-time favorite drama couples!

Overall: I loved this drama and it really sucks not many people know about it. Highly recommended if you're in the mood of a light rom-com with good solid characters, a real romance and a interesting story.

Oh. My. God. I don't think I have ever seen a more frustrating and annoying drama! I was expecting a light, fun drama but this turned out to be so exasperating that at times I was emotionally drained watching this. I had to take a break to calm myself down. I have never shouted at my computer screen but I did while watching this drama. I don't know why I got so invested but just thinking about this drama is making me angry again!

Story: I did not understand the political stuff AT ALL. I know that may be my fault since I'm not into politics and stuff but a drama like this shouldn't have complicated politics. I didn't understand the history either. I didn't get most of the reasons for the characters' actions. The second female lead arc was so annoying! Why couldn't anyone see the evil stuff she was doing? Why was she doing all that evil stuff? I'm guessing it's because she was crazy. But why did she get a happy ending then? Evil people already get happy endings in real life, I don't want that in dramas as well!

Honestly though, this drama started out really well. It seemed light and funny. The female lead was refreshing and bubbly and for a change the male lead was nice to her. I had high hopes for this drama. I don't know why they had to add such annoying politics and evil schemes.

Actors/Characters: I liked Lee Seol in the beginning. She was funny and wasn't afraid to say what was on her mind. After the introduction of bitch Oh Yoon Joo, I was hoping Lee Seol would be confident and fight against her. At least say something to her face and show her who's boss. But no. Lee Seol had to be this stupid girl who falls for Yoon Joo's tricks every time and never stands up for herself! Yes, I know. She eventually did fire her and all. But by that time I was way too tired. She should have done something earlier. Kim Tae Hee's acting wasn't bad though. And I did enjoy a couple of scenes. I'm blaming the writer/director.

Park Hae Young was okay. To be honest, I don't remember him much. I did like how he was nice and not a mean, rude jerk. He was very different from the conventional male leads. But he wasn't very memorable. I'm racking my brain here trying to remember something about him but all I can think is how annoying it was that whenever Lee Seol did something stupid he cleaned up the mess. I would've liked it if Lee Seol wasn't this stupid. And that she would clean up her own messes. Other then that I don't remember Hae Young much. Song Seung Hoon was good. I don't remember having any problem with his acting.

Oh my God I don't think I have ever hated a character more than I hated Oh Yoon Joo! She was so evil! And crazy! Very crazy! I wanted to slap her so hard! I was hoping one of the characters would do it. But no. Not only does she not get a slap but she also gets her happy ending! I mean, come on! I didn't hate her this much for her to be left like this! She was a selfish, crazy bitch who had no justification for her actions. I didn't have any sympathy for her even when that was the card the writer was playing. I'm not sure what to say about Park Ye Jin. If she made me hate the villain so much then she must have done a good job, right? But the most annoying thing about her was the robotic straight face she always had. It was like she didn't have any emotions. I think that is why I wasn't able to sympathize with her.

Nam Jung Woo was probably my favorite character. He was the only person smart enough to see through Yoon Joo. He also countered her tactics. He was nice and considerate without going overboard. He was the only person who seemed human. And the only person I was rooting for. Why, oh why did he choose Yoon Joo?!!! He deserved someone nice, not a selfish bitch like her! I think Ryu Soo Young did a pretty good job.

Out of the side characters I simply adored Lee Gun (the chef) and Court Lady Shin! They were adorable and funny and awesome! I hated Lee Dan (Lee Seol's sister)! But what I don't get is if she is punished for all her doings, why wasn't Yoon Joo too? (No, I am never letting this go!) Lee Dan wasn't nearly as bad as her! And her actions were understandable as well! I don't remember any of the other characters. The grandpa seemed sort of crazy.

Overall: This drama just wasn't for me. I know a lot of people loved this drama but it had too much of an "Indian drama" feel to it and I really don't like Indian dramas. Oh well, maybe you'll have better luck with it.

THIS. WAS. THE. CUTEST. DRAMA. EVER!!!!!!! OhmyGodIlovedit!!!!!! I'm sorry but I'm way too excited for my review to be coherent! Okay, wait. Deep breath.

Let me start this again. This drama was amazing! I've seen a Thai movie, Shutter, before which was amazeballs! I've also seen a Thai mini movie, The Library, which was also amazing! And now I watched this Thai lakorn which I absolutely loved! I hope my luck with Thai entertainment stays this good ;) Before I start my review let me say that I haven't seen the original Korean version of Full House, nor do I plan to. But people who have seen it say that the Thai version is better so yaay! Now onto my review.

Story: If I had to rate the story alone I would give it a 4, maybe 5, out of 10. I'll be honest, if it weren't for the lead couple I would've hated the story. The fake marriage aspect of it was great and I loved the romance but what was up with Mike? What was his deal with Min & his promise and what not?! That was extremely annoying! Especially since I felt like Min was shown as misunderstood not manipulative and evil like she was. But even if that part of the story was annoying, I really enjoyed the drama overall. Especially the AoMike parts! OTP!!!!!

Actors/Characters: Umm... I think I'm in love... No, seriously, Mike is gorgeous! And I think I'm in love with him..
That said, he was pretty good in this drama. Not Johnny Depp good, obviously, but I think he did a great job and portrayed his character well. I liked Mike (the character), he was adorable! Other than his obsessed-with-Min side, I really liked him. I liked how he was genuinely a nice person and cared about others. He wasn't mean like most "chaebol" characters are. And his relationship with Aom was just the cutest!

I loved Aom! The actress did a really amazing job, there were some scenes (like the one in which she confesses) with I absolutely loved! And I adored her character! She was funny and cute and I love how she stood her own. She refused to be bullied around and even though she was a bit crazy, I really liked her! She was one of the most 'real' characters I have ever seen!

I actually really liked Guy! He was pretty cool and I loved how straightforward he was! That was what I loved the most about him, he wasn't one of those second leads who keep suffering on their own and never say a word. He was pretty honest.

Mintra was the most annoying person ever!! I hated her! She was manipulative and selfish and I really really hated her!

The rest of the cast was okay. Most were there for comedy purposes or to move the story along and all of them did well. Mike's grandmother was adorable!

Romance: The romance was the best part of this drama. AoMike had such amazing chemistry! They reminded me of the InHyun couple. I loved their bickering and their loving glances and how much they cared for each other. I loved how they were like friends and I love love love that they are good friends in real life as well! I simply loved them together!

Overall: The story wasn't the best but the romance was mindblowingly amazing and for that alone this drama deserves a watch! I really hope AoMike soon work on another drama together!

Almost all the reviews I have read of this movie have been negative. And I also get why they were negative. But I on the other hand really loved this movie!

This short movie is about relationships. About a cheating boyfriend and a girl who has this image in her head of the kind of boyfriend he should be. This movie, though, isn't that straightforward. It has metaphors which you have to understand yourself. Some people would say it makes the movie complicated. I say it makes the movie more beautiful.

The camera work and acting aren't that good but it isn't that bothersome. There aren't many dialogues and body language is more important. In such a short movie, the story is the main focus. Music plays a big role in this movie. I think this movie is at least worth a watch. And if you don't like it, looking at Mario's gorgeous face isn't a complete waste after all. ;)

Like almost everyone who watched this drama, I was very disappointed. In a sentence, it was a huge waste of talent.

The story was... weird honestly. More than once it felt like the writer didn't know what she wanted to do so she was just pushing along. The only interesting stuff that happened was in the last few episodes which was very sad because those story lines and plots could be taken side by side and given time but the writer decided to give all the focus to the boring main couple.

Which brings us to the main leads of the drama. I'll start with Kim Tan. I love Lee Min Ho. I really do. And it wasn't his fault at all. It was all Kim Tan's fault and the writer's fault. I didn't like Kim Tan AT ALL! He was selfish and spoiled and controlling and I just really didn't like him. I hated his hair and clothes too.

Park Shin Hye surprised me. She has really improved in her acting. She still has no chemistry with her on-screen lovers but in other scenes she did really well. I also liked Eun Sang in, like, the first half of the drama, I think. I thought she had potential. That she would stand up for herself. But no. I rooted for her the few moments she did fight back. But throughout most of the drama she was getting pushed around by Kim Tan and Young Do and she let them!

Yound Do was a bully and no one should like or justify what he did to people. But OHMYGOD KIMWOOBIN!!! He's not only good looking but also an amazing actor! He played Young Do so well! He even managed to have some kind of chemistry with Park Shin Hye. This drama did made me a Kim Woo Bin fan. BUT the overnight change in Young Do was not believable at all. As much as I loved the new Young Do, no one changes overnight like this.

A huge problem this drama had was that there were way too many characters. And all the actors who played these characters were very good but they weren't given the attention they deserved. There were so many characters and so many story lines to deal with that most of them went neglected. For example, I still don't understand that sunbae's story. Neither do I get the teacher's story. I love Choi Jin Hyuk but his talent was wasted big time. And you get my point. The writer put too much on her plate and ours.

What bothers me the most though is the fact that they had so many chances to build up on the Kim Won-Kim Tan brother arc. And Choi Young Do-Kim Tan friendship arc. But they chose to forget about these things until the last episodes.

The ending was so rushed that it didn't feel like an ending. The drama went at moderate speed in the beginning, then slowed down, and then in the last few episodes it went by at lightening speed. This caused many arcs to be left at that. Many of the characters did not get the happy ending they deserved. And it all looked very sloppy.

Despite all the negatives, there were also things that I really loved in this drama. For example, everyone's favorite couple Chan Young and Bo Na. These two were so cute! I loved them! Another relationship that I really enjoyed was Kim Tan's mom's and Eun Sang's mom's odd sort of friendship. These two were really fun to watch. Plus they had far better chemistry than Kim Tan and Eun Sang even though Lee Min Ho tried so hard. Remember that forced kiss? It made my jaw drop 'cause I was like "Looks like LMH took my comment seriously." And I guess it did kind of work because Park Shin Hye did look a little more in love in the last few episodes. Before that it seemed like a joke every time Eun Sang declared her love for Tan.

I also really liked Rachel and I wanted them to do more with her. I loved her with Young Do! They looked really cute together.

I'll end my rant now with the statement that this drama fell near You're Beautiful for me. It was OK to watch, not super bad and you'll find that there are moments that are very enjoyable, but it wasn't one of the really good ones. If you want to go ahead and watch for the gorgeous cast then I won't stop you but if you are looking for a really good drama then I would warn you against watching this one.

I loved this drama! It was different and amazing! Greatly executed, it had talented actors, a good story and amazing music. It was very enjoyable.

Story: I don't usually like noona romances but this one was daebak! It had a great story though I did not like the second male lead part. That was boring and made no sense. But the rest of it was amazing! It didn't have any twists and turns or huge birth secrets. There was a mystery around the leads' past but it was simple and believable and wasn't too heavy. The romance was epic and the lead couple had amazing chemistry! There was plenty comedy and cute stuff and I enjoyed the side stories as well, like Ban Ji Yeon's mother's.

Actors/Characters: In my opinion, the characters of this drama were very well-written. All had depth and seemed real. All except No Shi Hoon. He was cardboard character who had no personality. But more about that later. I'll start with Ban Ji Yeon. I've seen Uhm Jung Hwa in a couple of movies and I've liked her but I really enjoyed her performance in this drama! She was great in the funny as well as the emotional scenes and I felt like she captured the character really well. I liked how throughout the drama Ban Ji Yeon acted like an adult and acted her age. It was adorable how, when she fell in love, she giggled like a teenage girl. All in all, I really enjoyed her character.

I was very impressed with Park Seo Joon! I haven't seen him in anything else so I wasn't really expecting anything but I was very impressed with his acting and his portrayal of the character. He has very good facial expressions and usually his face shows his feelings. Also, he makes the most adorable faces! Yoon Dong Ha was a nice, sweet guy and exactly the kind of guy I would want! I loved him! He was adorable and perfect! He was sweet and caring and just adorable!

No Shi Hoon, as I mentioned, was a very uninteresting character. He had no personality or soul and the reason behind his actions was never revealed. In fact his character wasn't developed at all. Han Jae Suk didn't appear that much that I could say anything about his acting. He was okay I guess.

I very much enjoyed all the side characters in this drama. I loved Ji Yeon's mother! Her relationship with her mother was very much like my own with my mother so that was very sweet. And I really liked her romance with Ji Yeon's boss. I loved Dong Ha's roommate! He was funny and adorable and such a sweetheart! And his romance with Eun Chae was really cute! Ji Yeon's friend and her husband were funny and cute and just perfect! And I really enjoyed all the office workers, especially Team Leader Byun who's character was written really well.

Overall: I really enjoyed this drama. It was different and really good and I loved the romance and comedy.

Finally this is over! This drama was so boring it was almost a torture to watch. Why did I watch it then? I used it as background noise when I did my homework. I can't do homework if there is silence and music distracts me too much. What better background noise can there be besides a boring drama? I still got the story completely. It was very typical.

Story: Well it wasn't anything different. I could pretty much guess everything that was going to happen. It was off to a good start, it was interesting and all, but about through half of it it went downhill and by the end it was so boring that I was seriously considering dropping it.

Actors/Characters: Rain was awesome! I haven't seen any of his works before but I was aware that he's a pretty good actor. I got to see it first hand in this this drama. It was like he really understood the character and all his expressions, even the subtle ones, were spot-on.

I loved Krystal in Heirs. Here though she fell a bit flat. Her acting was boring and her expressions were bland. She went well with her character though.

Oh Myungsoo. Why must you make me go through this pain? I would be lying if I said that L and Hoya weren't the reasons I started watching this drama. But it was so painful to see Myungsoo's acting, I even cringed at times. I wanted to stop the poor boy, he looked so awkward and in pain. I didn't like his character either. He was supposed to come off as cute and Myungsoo did pull it off, what with that face and all, but if you look at the character itself then Shi Woo was a bit obsessive and stalkerish and very irritating.

Hae Yoon was right there with Shi Woo competing for the 'most obsessive' award. She won by a landslide. She was ssssooooo annoying!!! Like girl he doesn't like you and never will. Give up, it's been 12 years!

Seo Jae Young was supposed to be the evil guy. He was okay, mostly he just annoyed me. The other characters were okay as well. Hyun Wook's father was very annoying. His wife was actually pretty funny and I liked her. I really liked Se Na's friends, they were such a cute couple. Hyun Wook's best friend was cute (for an ahjussi) but some of his opinions annoyed me. Oh that ANA employ was pretty funny too. I noticed that they introduced some characters but never showed them again. The best example would be Yoo Ra Eum who is also on the poster. I was sure she had a more important role but she only appeared for a couple of episodes and her scenes didn't make sense either.

Romance: I read in many comments that people didn't like the romance between Rain and Krystal but I actually found it pretty cute. Their scenes together were adorable, especially when they were joking around and having fun.

Overall: This was an okay drama. I would've liked it more had I watched when I started watching kdramas. But I've seen a lot of great dramas now and this was a meh one. I would only recommend it to new drama watchers.

I had really really high hopes for the one. I mean it has Ji Hyun Woo, whom I LOVED in Queen In Hyun's Man. It has Jung Eun Ji, who was awesome in Reply 1997. And then it has Shin Sung Rok, who blew me away with his performance in You Who Came From The Stars. So how could it go wrong? Sadly, it can. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't horribly bad. But it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be either.

Story: The story was good... I guess? It was full of cliches and kind of predictable. There wasn't really any moment where I would go "OMG I can't believe that happened!". There were moments though when I thought "Ugh! I was hoping this wouldn't happen.". That said, it wasn't so bad. There were some dull moments and I never really got much into the story but it was entertaining to watch and it wasn't all that bad.

Characters: Throughout the first few episodes I kept saying "I want my Kim Boong Do back!". I don't know what Ji Hyun Woo was trying to do or if it was his fault or the writer's but I really didn't like his character! Jang Joon Hyun was awkward, and not in the good sense. And the clothes he wore, oh my God!! I remember, in one of the earlier episodes, he was wearing a shirt which had pictures of small pizza slices on it! And what was up with his hair?! Why were they golden/silver? The only moment he looked good was when he wore a brown wig. He did die his hair in the later episodes so that was a bit better. Other than looks I never really connected with his character at all. He, honestly, felt like a side character.

Jung Eun Ji was really good and Choi Choon Hee was a no-nonsense, strong female lead whom I admired very much! The poor girl went through so much but she worked hard. She sometimes came off as too simple or too good whereas I like my female leads with brains but overall she wasn't that bad, even likable and relatable.

Shin Sung Rok was amazing! To be honest I wasn't sure he would be able to pull it off. I mean his character here is so different from the one in You Who Came From The Stars (thank God!) and I was anticipating his performance but I was also scared that what if it would turn out to be a disaster. Thankfully, Shin Sung Rok showed here too what an amazing actor he is and shined in all of the scenes he was in. His character, Jo Geun Woo, is a very unique one. He is kind of crazy, but in a good way. He is nice and sweet but also smart and clever. He was different from your average second male lead and leave it to Shin Sung Rok to play unique characters splendidly!

I've never seen Lee Se Young in anything before. So the first time I saw Park Soo In I thought "OMG she's so pretty!". She really is. I really enjoyed her character and how she changed over the course of the drama. Her character was very deep and relatable (not for me, but I know a lot of people like her). Her life has been manipulated by her mother and she doesn't have any freedom to do what she wants. Her actions, even though they were wrong, seemed right for her. She was a character whose story I really enjoyed. (Shows that I'm a fan of broken characters.)

Out of the minor characters my favorite was Choon Hee's sister. The little girl who played her did such a wonderful job, she was better than Ji Hyun Woo! I'm not kidding, the kid was amazing! She was really adorable! These Korean child stars never fail to surprise me with their awesome acting abilities! I did like the other side characters, Choon Hee's coach, her senior, the debt collectors, Joon Hyun's manager, even that arrogant singer dude. They were all funny and helped the story-line. I hated Choon Hee's father and I cannot forgive him for what he did. Soo In's mother was a good villain and I understood her motivations. Her sidekick cracked me up every time he was on screen because he was also on Secret Love Affair and I just couldn't help but make up a story in my head that he got kicked out from his job there so he joined Shine Star. Poor guy :P

Romance: I did not like the main couple. Half because InHyun couple and Reply 1997 couple are so much better! And half because Shin Sung Rok & Jung Eun Ji had better chemistry than Jung Eun Ji with Ji Hyun Woo. So, I was not interested or invested much into this couple therefore I have very little to say about them. Except that they were extremely childish which I found uncomfortable.

Music: The music was really good! I had no idea Jung Eun Ji had such a powerful voice! She's an amazing singer! Ji Hyun Woo is good too. The music overall was really good and fun to listen to, even the trot music which I don't listen to that much.

Overall: Overall this was an okay drama. I would have liked it better if I had watched it at the beginning of my drama watching phase but now that I have seen so many amazing dramas this one fell short. I would recommend it though to new drama watchers and to people who want to see a childish romance.

It's been a while since I saw this drama so my review may not be that good. I'll let you know what I remember about this drama...

Characters: I remember that at first I didn't like the female lead but over the course of the drama she grew on me. I'm not saying that I started liking her, but she became tolerable. She was annoying at times and she had no self respect. Plus she was weird and selfish. She wanted both guys for herself and she was plying them both. Yes, she wasn't doing that by scheming and stuff but she was hanging on to both of them instead of choosing one. Kinda like Elena (from Vampire Diaries). This annoyed me about her.

Cha Chi Soo... I really didn't like him in the beginning. I found him funny, actually. But then I started liking him. He wasn't that bad and he was pretty good looking. But he was selfish throughout the drama. People argue that he changed and became a better person at the end but I don't agree with that. He still seemed pretty selfish at the end, to me.

Ba Wool was so adorable and cute! I really really liked him. Yes, he loved Yoon So Yi and so he let her use him. But I like how he also stood up for himself. His personality was a lot like my little brother's...

Hyun Woo was a nice character but he wasn't shown as much as I would've liked for them to show him. His story had a lot of potential and I think that they should have explored it more. Not just use it as a small side plot. I think he should have had a bigger role.

Now for my favorite character, Choi Kang Hyuk! Aaahhh!! This guy is just... perfect!! He's hot and tall and sweet and adorable and cute and just perfect! I had a major second lead syndrome at the beginning of the show. But then I realised that Eun Bi did not deserve someone as amazing as him. So I was very happy that he wasn't the one Eun Bi would end up with. She was right with Cha Chi Soo. Leave Kang Hyuk for someone better! The way he says manora is so cute! And he's so funny in how he's lazy and sleeps anywhere and everywhere! I just really really loved him!

I don't remember many of the minor characters... Eun Bi's teacher friends were OK. They were funny at times. Cha Chi Soo's dad was very weird. He bathe a lot :P Like, in every other scene he was shown in a hot tub. Yoon So Yi was a spoiled brat. I hated her! She used Ba Wool and strung him along and she really annoyed me.

Story: I'm not much of a fan of "noona-romances" but this one was okay. The story was interesting and I really did enjoy the drama a lot. I don't know what else to say... the story was really good but not one of the best in the kdrama world.

Overall: I would recommend this drama if you like noona romances or if you're just looking for a romance. It does have nice kisses and the story is pretty good. Overall, it's enjoyable and worth your time.

I loved loved loved this drama!! It's definitely my favorite out of all the ones I've seen! I just... loved it!

Story: The story was really good and kinda different from the other dramas. Sure there were cliches but hey, which drama doesn't have them? And oddly enough, they don't bother me much in dramas. The story was pretty interesting and, despite there being small plot holes, over all it was really good.

Casting: Umm... well, this drama had Lee Min Ho in it. So even if it would've had the worst story line, camera work etc of all time, I would've watched it. For Mr Lee Min Ho. Because I love him. I love him so so much!

BUT, the other cast was really good too! The leading lady, Ms Son Ye Jin, did a great job! She was not afraid to make a fool of herself on-camera and she acted pretty well. Lee Min Ho is one of my favorite Korean actors. Not just because of his looks but also because of his acting skills. He's a great actor! Plus he knows how to kiss, which I think most Korean actors don't.

Characters: All the characters were great and the actors who played them did a great job! I liked Chang Ryul. I felt sorry for him. I could see that he had good in him but because of his father he turned kinda... bad. He was, in a way, innocent. I felt sorry for Kim In Hee too. She threw away her friendship because she was too selfish and didn't trust anyone. I loved Sang Jun! He was so funny! And I really liked Gae In's best friend's character too. She reminded me a lot of my best friend...

Romance: I loved the romance in this drama! It really felt like Jin Ho & Gae In were in love. You see, usually in Kdramas I just don't feel like the leads are actually in love with each other. But in this drama it really did feel like they loved it each other. The romance was really cute and well developed!

I don't really have much more to say about this drama... I loved it. The story was great. The characters were memorable. The romance was adorable. The underlying themes were well portrayed. So if you are in the mood for a good romantic comedy drama with a hot male lead and a pretty good story, I'd recommend Personal Taste.

Review by a doctor: love the medicine, hate the romance

I have a love hate relationship with this drama. On the one hand I absolutely love the medical aspect. I'm a doctor and this drama was so well researched and very accurate. I enjoyed the cases and also the medical lifestyle and the hardship of doctors and their relationship with the patients, all was very relatable.
BUT I did not like the romance at all. Mostly it made me uncomfortable and cringe. I know that's more of a me problem though. The characters too I had a hard time liking though they did grow on me by the second season. Honestly all 7 of the stars I gave go to how well they did the medical aspect of the show. It's hard to find something so well researched. Props to the people who worked on the drama.
