An entertaining and well casted drama which never quite gave that addiction high it should have. Should have been a little funnier, a little warmer, and a bit less plot-holey.

My Rating: 7.5

In Short: A great cast which made this a very watchable show, though not as suspenseful or funny as it could have been given the great comedic potential of our leads.

Pros: Not the silliest portrayal of police work I have ever seen, and the cast definitely sold it to create a high level of cute.

Cons: Disappointingly one-dimensional villains, and some plot holes that I couldn't quite get my head around. The fun premise and great cast could have been taken better advantage of.

An innocent guilty pleasure, this drama was Boys over Flowers if it had been well produced, with inappropriately aged actors. And ugly sweater humour. I still have nightmares that “Love is the Moment” suddenly plays at unsuitable moments in everyday life.

In Short: A fun ride, where I really just wanted everything and everyone to be BETTER. The immense number of characters should have reduced screen time for brooding, listening to music in tandem, and creepy parental romances. Instead, everyone got the short end of the stick.

Pros: The one-liners were great, and the Chan Young - Bo Na romance was really sweet.

Cons: Kim Tan turned out to be one of the most boring leads I have seen to date. They could have limited the number of slow walks - grab wrists - meaningful stares moments to under two times per episode. Love was not those moments.

The silliest, and also the funniest Hong Sisters drama I've seen so far, Greatest Love is a fun, well paced ride full of endearing characters.

In Short: Laugh-out-loud hysterical comedy. I liked the premise, and I loved the characters in this. Gong Hyo Jin is as likable as ever, Cha Seung Won is brilliant, and Yoon Kye Sang’s dorky smile got me every time.

Pros: Well paced, brilliantly casted and truly charming. Ding Dong!

Cons: The metaphor overdose was a bit tiring by the end of it. Also, the time skip past the mortal danger was a bit of a let down.

A realistic and well focused high school drama, School 2013 managed to engage me with it’s lead bromance.

In Short: The only k-drama I've seen that has not involved any central romance. I really liked the characters and the message in this drama, and I think the realism of it separates it from other high school dramas, which are often pure fluff.

Pros: A good focus on friendship and team work, likable lead characters and no unnecessary love triangles. The two lead students were infinitely cute together. Sharing blankets is for real men.

Cons: A bit hard to connect to the flashback events that supposedly happened during middle school, when the roles are played by 25 year old dudes.

An engaging drama where the male lead is the perfect man, tall, handsome and extremely intelligent. And not to mention cheeky.

In Short: Epic and well directed. The lead paring oozes chemistry, and the time travelling does set rules clearly (only to slightly go haywire with the final resolution). The emotional aspect of the final resolution is perfect, though.

Pros: A wonderful lead romance. Boong do is one of my favourite characters. And the “dim-witted” heroine wasn’t really that dim-witted compared to other similar k-drama heroines. Well directed.

Cons: Deus Ex Machina, some confusing narrative during time leaping, and why did they never talk about Boong do’s dead wife?

A great thriller and a bromance which could have been epic. I hate it when bromances crumble :(

In Short: A thrilling ride. Wish it included more bromance in the end. These brothers seem to have forgotten that they were best friends.

Pros: Suspenseful and action packed with complex characters.

Cons: Some plot holes. And I do wish the great bromance that we started out with could have been carried through. Does not seem likely that a person would not recognize his own brother when directly at him from short distance.

It could have been so much more. Unlike most people, I did NOT find the main couple cute together. I would rather see a drama where Ah Young and Secretary Kim are the main leads, and Oska and Tae Sun are the secondary couple which ends up together.

In Short: Well produced, but the infuriating characters and the cry-fests towards the end made me want to scream. A bit surprised that Oska and his boytoy were the only characters I actually liked in the end. And omo-queen secretary Kim of course. And I might have liked the tracksuits. Don’t judge me.

Pros: Good premise and hilarious at times.

Cons: Infuriating characters, and unexplained plot devices ahoy! HATED Seul throughout the drama. And why was Lee Jong Suk there? Horribly underused character.

A wonderful comedy about an ambitious group of friends. I was thoroughly moved by this cute noona romance.

In Short: A comedy with a grown up and modern view on relationships. The leading couple is adorable and the ladies are endearing. Yey for characters with friends!

Pros: Great friendships and a wonderful leading couple.

Cons: No complaints, this drama was everything it should be, fun and breezy.

An engrossing tale of a woman trapped by her own choices and ambitions. Yoo Ah In as the young man who enables her to free herself is a revelation.

In Short: This is the most emotionally involved I’ve been with a drama so far. The entire series (including the end) is expertly plotted and acted. Not for everyone, but if you tolerate some thoughtfully slow pacing, this is the melodrama for you.

Pros: Well directed, well cast, well written and beautifully shot. Through a 20 year age difference, the lead couple sizzled in a realistic way.

Cons: Yoo Ah In is significantly older than 20, and you can sort of tell. The acting (and some thoughtful styling and makeup) pulls it off though.

Slightly racy, but mostly refreshing. I’m really happy to see a group of friends in a drama.

In Short: Racy for a k-drama, in an honest way. I did not much enjoy the aegyo female lead though, and hated the ending, which did nothing for the morals of the story. I feel bad for the second lead, he was cute. Had a bit of second lead syndrome in this one.

Pros: Racy in a good way, which sets it apart from other k-dramas (which are not racy at all). I also love that the main characters have friends. Real people have friends.

Cons: Still mad about the ending, which set us back to square one. Characters could have been a bit less similar to Sex and the City characters.

Cute, cute, cute. A bit creepy with the teacher-student romance, but I think the real life ages shine through in the romance department here.

In Short: Worth it just for Gong Yoo’s smiles. A very cute drama, though it has some slightly unnecessary “filler” story lines and a very passive male second lead.

Pros: Excellent leads, sizzling chemistry

Cons: Passive second lead, some unnecessary “filler” story lines

My favourite noona romance and a wonderfully quirky female lead. This show could not have entertained or engaged me more.

In Short: A show full of wonderful characters and a great setup. Noona romance with cohabitation is rare, but glorious. Everyone should have a puppy like that.

Pros: I love everyone in this show. The female lead is superbly flawed, in a good way. Super cute chemistry both with first and second male lead. A rarity indeed: I also liked the female second lead. Go figure.

Cons: Some of the courtroom stuff was drawn out. Sesame street law was a little hilarious, but not always in a good way. For the main case, they should have considered real law.

A cute Hong sisters affair with the always entertaining Gong Hyo Jin as the female lead.

In Short: Great chemistry between the leads, and a cute way to lead them together. Do wish Chunderella was the main conflict though, not eeeeevil twins.

Pros: Cute lead romance with a great excuse for skinship.

Cons: The ghost of the week premise was hit and miss. Got really sick of the eeeeeevil twins.

Makjang melodrama well worth the misery. Not for everyone, but well acted and great writing.

In Short: A fabulous melodrama about people who are horrible to each other. Soong Joong ki is great. A bit too much amnesia for my taste. I wanted Eun Gi to be restored to her former glory, but she never actually did.

Pros: Song Joong Ki is wonderful, and portrays our anti-hero well. Great melodrama.

Cons: Enough amnesia to power dramaland for centuries.

This fantastic thriller with great performances from it’s young cast gave me chills. Highly recommended, independent on whether you are into k-drama or not.

In Short: A drama special of eight episodes that knows where it is going from the very start. Great cast of young actors and eerie vibe that pays of.

Pros: Beautifully filmed and a great mystery set to interesting characters.

Cons: South Korea apparently has the worst police force ever.
