Explain yourself!

Even though it was obvious why Brutus was betraying Third-i, it's stll sad. Especially when they showed the panda bear with the laser gun trained on her son... I hope they don't kill him off like Aoi. I really don't understand the Professor's connection with Otoya's grandfather and I had thought that they were trying to stop the terrorists, but he seems to be a terrorist himself. I'm so confused. Also, why does J have to die? He's falling in love with his doctor.. it's going to be pretty sad.

Kenji's roller coaster

I love the way Kenji's issue was handled. It's perfect how it unfolded, he's not where he wants to be but now he has the drive to be there. Yaay! I'm so happy he was able to come to some sort of closure on the issue of his child and his work. The later i'm sure, will unfold in later episodes. Also the way that the problems of the brothers are solved is really very realistic and filled with nuance and emotions. The mother was brought into this episode, and it seems like the father regrets the way he treated her. It should be interesting to see what kind of bow gets tied onto that. So far so good.

wow

This was sooo emotional. I feel bad for Kenji because of how much he's taken advantage of at work but on the other hand- omg he's such an ass! He knew that Irie used to like him allot but he still treated her like crap and then complains about how she used to be 'easy'... So yeah, I have mixed feelings about him. On the bright side though, i'm glad they didn't drag out the Hinata thing, it's good Kenji found out that he was his son. It will be interesting to see what he'll do about it.

Win/Win

Aww the whole thing with Kaoru was cleared up really cute-ly. It was so sweet when he called Yuriko nee-san :). Looks like drama's ahead though, Kenji meets the little boy's mother ^___^ *please be my son* is what I want to be going through his head.

Mothers

It was interesting to see the mother's point of view as to why she left, or maybe that's not the right way of putting it. The mother was stuck in a rut for 35 years and decided to leave, with no intention of going back even though her youngest was still in middle school. She doesn't regret her decision, so it's not really her point of view but her perspective, it's black and white to her, if she stayed she would never be able to accomplish her dreams. The family's reaction to this was interesting. The father reopened his coffee shop, and the brothers are getting used to the idea that they are on their own now. I still am not sure if I can relate to Yuriko and her decision to stick it out, but we'll see, she (and the family) might still grow on me.

Family Values

I'm not a big fan of the whole, 'be a housekeeper' thing, but I have to say it's heartwarming to see how hard she tries. It's obvious that the family is ungrateful but they're learning, slowly, to appreciate her. Her mother seems to also respect Yuriko's decision to help the family. I loved how they added the chair to the table, I hope in the next episode I get to see their mother's point of view as to why she left.

Why?

Why did they have to kill off Orihara? I liked her. And what was with the sadistic torture guy?? He was so creepy. That was so sad at the end where Maya touches Kanou's cheek and says, 'it's warm'.. that made me sad. This show has killed off so many people i like! And OMG Brutus was a complete curveball! Not in a million years would I have guessed it was who it seems to be. But then I guess that's the perfect person to be Brutus, nicely done screenwriters.

-_-

The Yagi tangent was annoying i'm not going to lie they're probably going to use him to get to Haruka. I also really, really disliked the coworker, he's really an idiot for falling for something like that again.

Kiyopta!

Alright Gun Hee is growing on me a bit in this episode. Her character developed more depth when she and Gang Jae went out to the countryside together and spent the night looking at stars. He's definitely starting to develop feelings for her in this episode. The mother though, seems to be sick- but I could be wrong, thats the impression I got. Also the oldest sister, Sun Hee, is sooo cute around Jang Won. I loved that shot of her rubbing her red converses on the pavement blushing. Overall episode, nicely done.

Funny and Cute

I really liked getting to know the renters and the sisters. I loved how they were competing with each other in order to find out if the men or the women would be dominate, the lemon test was the best. I think i'd puke if that were me. The mothers relationship with the Director of Sangcharim is teased out in this episode a bit, something about an accident and pain and sadness. I'm hooked, definitely want to see what happens next!

picked it on a whim

The first episode starts off a little slow but quickly picks up with interesting characters popping up one after another. There's an evil mayor, a Broadway reject and a mommies choir- all three spark off of each other creating tension and drama. It's really interesting to see how the plot will unfold, I highly recommend watching it even if your not into musicals- it's so much more.
