The female lead donates liver and it was all a sham by male lead to get the liver donation. Both male lead took advantage of female lead and used them for their own benefit disregarding the feelings of female lead.

The couple chemistry is similar to Lighter& Princess. The ML appears cold but the FL knows him. They understand each other. The leads make it real. Just like in Lighter & Princess, the chemistry between the leads is amazing the point it makes it real. It feels natural and believable.

The Imperial Coroner is quite a bit lighter, lower budget, less political and more comedic but i couldn't help but think of it while watching Secret of Three Kingdoms.

When watching Will love in Spring, it kept reminding me of another chinese drama which Fake it till you make it is an easy going drama with amazing chemsitry and romance has similar vibes.

Both are historical dramas that have a powerful queen pushing her son(s) to the throne, scheming by people in the people, and an heir to the throne who grew up outside the palace unaware of his identity as a child.
