Fortune Writer is a mini series while Romance of Tiger and Rose is a full length series but they have a similar vibe where the main character is written to be the villainess of the story destined to die quickly and horribly. In both the main character knows the story and chooses to go against the plot to change her own fate. In doing so she slowly starts to become the protagonist of the story and the sister that was meant to be the heroine becomes darker and villainous instead.

The villanness in both stories is given a chance to rewrite her story and as she writes her wrongs and becomes a better person the person that was meant to originally be the protagonist becomes meaner. There must be a Yin to the Yang. Both main characters know the events that are supposed to happen and find a way to change them keeping themselves alive.

Fortune Writer is a mini series with the main character realizing she is fated to be the villain and die horribly but is determined to change her fate. In Scent of Love is a full length series where the main character travels back in time and determines to change her fate.

Very similar vibe from both with main characters you can't help but fall for.

Independent and smart female lead, empowerment of females doing business (in an era where women were not traditionally looked at in the same way) and understanding male lead. Great casting and happy moments.

- Amazing performances from both leads
- In both of these dramas, the leads have a ride or die relationship and would do anything for each other.
- Amazing chemistry between the leads of both dramas
- Both dramas do a really good job of “showing and not telling” the story (usually through the use of flashbacks)
- Overall both dramas are just really well written

In both dramas, the ML is a demon and needs the FL in order to keep his power, and in both of them the FLs have something that the ML seeks before they fall in love with the FL.

Both of them have fantasy in it and there is a romance between a human and a non-human, although in "A korean odyssey", the ML is non-human, in "The Legend of the Blue Sea", it is the FL that is non-human.

They're similar in the way that a large portion of the audience will absolutely hate the drama and the characters, because they don't exactly adhere to the usual romance kdrama tropes and make questionable decisions. Like The Interest of Love, even when the characters make decisions that are "bad" or that viewers dislike, there is no indictment of their actions, nothing that indicates directly to the audience, "this character made a bad decision, and is therefore bad." The characters actually feel sorta real, or sympathetic at the very least.

Unlike The Interest of Love, To My Beloved does not have as much commentary on classism or work culture.
