First I have to admit I just watched it because I love Luo Zhixiang and Yang Chenglin! They are still the best drama-couple!

So this short drama seems to be produced by Tourism Australia? that means they show a lot of nice views and everyone is really nice. I guess they want to attract some more asian tourists? haha :D Also there is a lot of other companies funding, like lays chips, so it's like a commercial movie.^^°
beside that fact the story is nice with lots of emotions, also a lot to laugh about and some surprises. even if it's short I think it's a good package.
I really loved Show's and Rainie's acting. They really fit together and somehow this time they seemed more mature to me.(but that's maybe because 'Hi my sweetheart' is just too crazy and childish at times.)
The title song 'Wang jian Wang' is very catchy and I already loved it after the first episode. The music video is so cute and funny!
Overall it's a great drama and good to rewatch because it's so short. :D
Only thing is, I don't know if you can watch it with subs. I watched it in chinese on showluo official youtube channel. maybe there is also people uploading subbed videos in youtube?

I happened to watch this mini-drama/movie at one go. It pleasantly surprised me. I didn't know what to expect since its duration was so short. However, it managed to keep me hooked from the start till the end without boring me.

While the story is cliche in all aspects, it has a certain charm to it. Rainie and Show both played their parts very well. I loved their chemistry and they were fun to watch together. I would say the last episode was a bit cheesy for my taste but the rest of it was fine. I particularly liked Rainie Yang. I've never been a fan of hers before but she seems quite different from her 'Devil Beside You' days. I liked her acting as well. Show also looked hot in this.

Anyway- if nothing, this show is worth watching just for the amazing camera work. I have to say whosoever the director was did a great job of it. He actually made me want to visit Australia. I think mentioning this is relevant since this movie seemed like a big promotion for Australian tourism. LOL.

Worth a watch and maybe some time in the future, a rewatch. Definitely recommended for Rainie and Show fans!

OVERALL
Surprisingly good short story. It's only 50-min long, so come on, watch it.

THE STORY
Cute, fun and just a tad suspenseful, like every romantic drama (or film, because all episodes considered this is not even as long as the usual movie) should be. Granted, the male lead has no defined personality and the female lead is not a character everyone can like. Granted, the little mystery surrounding the girl's past is not completely unpredictable and the love kind of drops out of nowhere. But these are things that the short length of Heartbeat love is to blame for. The interactions between the guy and the girl are fun, the mystery keeps you alert, the landscape is beautiful, the script is well-written, so that by the end, all I could think of was, couldn't they have made it a regular drama? *Sigh* Why do the good things never last?

THE ACTING
Definitely did the trick. There was some decent chemistry between the leads too.

THE MUSIC
...yeah...

REWATCHABLE VALUE
Pretty high, but since I already know the conclusion of the little intrigue, I'm not sure I would enjoy rewatching it as much unless it's with someone else.

Hello my friends!
I watched Heartbeat love because i love Show (who doesnt?)but i have to say i was sorta disappointed with this mini movie.
The good news is that i liked the cast- rainie and show! i liked their chemistry before and its still good. the scenery was awesome and the film quality seemed to improve as they did more shots of the area, nature, surroundings, ect...
the bad news, clearly supporting tourism to Australia sponsored by Pepsi and the Four seasons (guessing on that one) it seemed like one really big commercial.sad face the story. it is not like personal taste at all. i think the story would have been better if they followed the 100 scene no koi format of being different people in different stories with a common theme. Most stories have a flow, you get a understanding of the characters, you fall in love with them ect... Instead Heartbeat love felt like it was given to the me (watcher) in a wham-bam-thank you ma'm fashion (thats a technical term). i felt like i was watching a one night stand and then was told "get it they are falling in love!" and i am still like "wait- when did they meet?". the webisode format really worked against them but i still gave the story a 6 and not a 5 because it could have been an awesome story that was massacred, thus i do not fault the writer.
overall great for show and rainie fans; it truly is their show. however major warning: some parts are confusing, and the ending is so sweet you will need a tall glass of water.

I was actually surprised of how good this was! I only watched it because of the pairing.

There's not much to say, the only two negative things about this was:

1. The filming (?), it was way to shaky at some parts to ignore it. I hate that stuff. They probably just wanted to give the drama a more realistic sence with shaky filming, but I just can't buy that stuff. But the scenery and editing was beautiful enough for me to forgive them!

2. TO DAMN SHORT! Atleast make it a movie!? :( I didn't even get to scream at my laptop for them to be together and stop bullsh****ng. That's quite sad, because that's an important step in a drama. You have to get the viewer mad at the characters so that they'll continue watch the drama until they blast out their feelings at eachother etc. I know, I know, it's impossible to get that in such short period of time, but still....

Now now, I won't say I didn't love it, because I did. It was really sweet and all, but I would soooooooooooooooooooooooo looooooooove it even more if it had been a longer drama or atleast a full-time movie! The only good thing about this being so short is that there were not as many fillers as in a regular drama. BUT, I still think they could have atleast made it a movie... >.< Five 10 minutes episodes just weren't enough to make me jump up and down in the end.

The acting was so-so. There weren't many characters in this (actually only 3 and one voice...) Even though I love this pairing, I just really don't think Raine is a good actress. In every drama I watched with her, she's been more or less the same. But I can buy it, because she's adorable and her chemistry with Show Luo is just amazing. Show Luo was not amazing, nor anyway near bad. :)

Still, pleasant to watch. I would reccomend this to everyone who recently watched a sad drama or a love drama they really loved.(haha!)

Or if you just want to watch romance without all the fillers and slow development!
