After an earthquake destroyed Xiang Qin's house, she and her father moved in with the family of her father's college buddy, Uncle Ah Li. To her surprise, the kind and amicable aunt and uncle are the parents of her cold and distant schoolmate Jiang Zhi Shu, a genius with an IQ of 200 whom not too long ago rejected her endless crush on him. Will the close proximity give her a second chance to win Zhi Shu's heart? Or, will her love for him end under his cold words? What happens when there is competition for his heart?

    1- Why did i watched this : well, this was my first T-drama before it i didn't even know that T-dramas existed. I mainly watched it because i'm a huge fan of "Itazura Na Kiss": i read the manga, watched and totally loved the anime and i've seen all the dramas adaptation: this one was the last adaptation that i watched.

    2-Storyline/Plot : There isn't actually a lot to tell since i doubt if there's anyone who don't know Itazura na kiss's story, well, this drama is the closest to the manga; it practically followed it literally, it was fun to watch it all over again; waah, it really bring back memories of one of my fav rom-com stories.

    I originally watched this because of Playful Kiss, hoping to compare the dramas. I am a huge fan of Playful Kiss, but after watching It Started With A Kiss, it surpasses Playful Kiss. First off, the storyline may be close to the same, but ISWAK really goes into depth with the story and the feelings of the characters. ISWAK develops characters and how they handle certain situations, and unlike Playful Kiss' Baek Sung Jo, the audience can really understand the main character's feelings. I would highly recommend watching It Started With A Kiss if you are wanting something that is witty, funny, and romantic, and expect a lot more romance in the sequel.     This and TKA will forever be my favorite T-Drama. Not only do Joe and Ariel have amazing chemistry, but the characters just feel so real and human.

    watching it right now. so far it has surpassed my expectations from what i had from Playful Kiss. good acting, comedy and development of the story!! just awesome!!

    It's a 10 for acting/cast!!
    Joe Cheng really good too, and Jiro wang is really good in this drama!!why is him not even in the supporting role?? ¬_¬

    Dude I'm on epi 9 & Xiang Qin's character development screams "DORK!" Y it's not tattooed on her forehead I don't know. I actually love the actress that plays her part & I really hope she had fun making this drama b/c I am rolling! I like Playful Kiss more at this pt. b/c the girl was not as goofy!

    It started with a kiss was my first asian drama.. maybe that's why I loved it so much. I was in love with Joe Cheng's character. I read the manga and i watched the korean and japanese version, but this is my all time favourite drama :D

    i liked their chemistry better than playful kiss's main lead chemistry .. esp in the rain confessing scene.. this couple was perfect :)
