Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Baek Ji Won will be joining the cast of The Perfect Deal.
It was officially confirmed on September 26 that Baek Ji Won will be working closely with actor Yoo Soo Bin in the upcoming wavve original K-drama The Perfect Deal.
This will be her second K-drama for 2023. She started the year by appearing in the Disney+ original K-drama Race with Lee Yun Hee, Hong Jong Hyun, Moon So Ri, TVXQ's U-Know, and Jo Han Chul.
After The Perfect Deal, Baek Ji Won will join the cast of the upcoming series You Have Done Well which will be led by IU, Park Bo Gum, Moon So Ri, Park Hae Joon, Lee Chun Moo, and Na Moon Hee. There's also a possibility that she will return to the new season of Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2.
Baek Ji Won also appeared in the film Dream this year. She portrayed the role of Park Seo Joon's mother in the movie.
The actress is known for being part of the K-dramas Cheer Up, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Anna, Snowdrop, Racket Boys, Be Melodramatic, The Fiery Priest, and more.
The Perfect Deal is a billion-worth kidnapping of two young men who accidentally kidnapped their friend. The upcoming K-drama will tell the story of three friends faking a kidnapping and falling out of control.
The upcoming series will be the collaboration work of director Lee Jung Gon (One Day and Not Out) and writer Hong Jong Seong.
In the K-drama, Baek Ji Won will portray the role of the mother of Yoo Soo Bin's character Park Min Woo. Park Min Woo became the hostage of the billion of worth of kidnapping in the series. Baek Ji Won will deal with the threats of Yoo Seung Ho and Kim Dong Hwi's characters and fight against them to rescue his son. The actress will showcase how a mother will do anything for his son with the use of her wealth and status.
The Perfect Deal will premiere on October 6 and it will exclusively be available on the OTT platform, wavve.
