Hi! Lately I've been wanting to buy some Japanese novels (translated into English) and I need some recommendations. I have bought/read OR intending to buy/read novels by - Keigo Higashino (The Devotion of Suspect X, Salvation of a Saint, Naoko) - Natsuo Kirino (Out, Grotesque, Real World) - Fuminori Nakamura (The Thief) - Haruki Murakami (well, everything lol) - Everything on japanesenovels.wordpress.com ... It would be really nice to drop any recommendation! Thank you! :D ETA: I don't have a favorite book genre so yep, anything is fine as long as it's good. :)
novels by Haruki Murakami
I haven't read many Japanese novels but I love the few books by Murakami that I've read (Kafka on the Shore, and Sputnik Sweetheart <3 loved it so much). I also enjoued this one a lot: http://www.amazon.com/Kitchen-A-Black-cat-book/dp/0802142443 Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto.

Oh, and I've also read (and liked) The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With the Sea by Yukio Mishima. I wanted to read more by him but I haven't yet.
another one is.. Train Man. it was also turned into a movie or a drama
may b " no more human " by dazai osamu
Best Japanese Books << Here's a Goodreads list that a bunch of people voted on. ^^ Looks like most of the books on this list are available in English.
Villain by Shuichi Yoshida. Can't vouch for the translated version (I just know one exists), but the orignal Japanese is really good. As was the movie...

If you like Murakami Haruki's more off the wall books like A Wild Sheep Chase, I recommend Abe Kobo and Akutagawa Ryunosuke.
