I loved this movie! Definitely one of my favorites. Lee Min Ki and Son Ye Jin made this wonderful. I don't think I could imagine any other actors playing their part. It wasn't too scary, but I don't think it was lacking. I feel like if they had made the movie scarier, or even less scary, it would have taken away from the story. I'm glad they didn't make the scare factor overpower the storyline like a lot a American horror movies do. 10/10; would watch again. I definitely recommend.

I didn't really know what to expect from this movie since it mixed so many genres but at the end I found it very amusing and fun to watch.

For me, the good sides of this movie are it's comedy relief, it's pace and acting. Even though it has some really creepy and even disturbing scenes that are surrounding the movie's plot, they didn't make them the sole center of the movie, but at the same time comedy and romance didn't make them any less creepy. Horror scenes were done really well in my opinion and made me feel uncomfortable, but comedy relief and movie's self awareness at times made this movie hilarious! I laughed a lot at some scenes cause they were unexpected, I like that type of comedy. The actors portrayed their roles quite well and a lot of times their reactions, especially laughing, felt really genuine. I think that made me sympathize with them more.

As for the things I didn't quite like is the story itself. It was a new concept for me, but it didn't quite stick to me, especially at the end. The story had such a nice pace and it was interesting, but the last 20-30 minutes felt so forced to me. And yet, at the end I felt like nothing was resolved, I didn't feel any satisfaction of a rounded up story. It felt like they just dismissed some problems that were present throughout movie without really solving them.

To conclude this review, I recommend you to watch this movie cause it's fun and the way it mixes different genres is very interesting.

This movie was fantastic! I really love Lee MinKi as an actor, and was surprised to see the girl from Personal Taste is in it too! They both did such a great job with their characters! I loved that the ghosts weren't TOO scary at parts and that YooRi already knew her way around the ghost needs because really Mediums just learning about their gifts gets boring! Super cute story, definitely worth watching again, and I definitely say everyone should watch it!

I haven't been watching korean movies since a moment to remember. but this one is really surprising.

The story is really good. you'll laugh and get scared the whole time. But that's not all. its also heart warming, moving and inspiring. I find this better than the master's sun.

This film will definitely leave you feeling Spellbound. It interweaves romance and ghosts (and a little magic on the side) in a charming and incredibly human way. It does share some similarities to the drama, Master’s Sun (Spellbound came out first in 2011) in terms of the mechanics surrounding the ghosts, i.e., why our female lead can see them and how they manifest themselves in her life. But this never bothered me. It felt like they were both stories from the same universe that kind of backed each other up. And if I’m honest, I think Spellbound handles the mechanics of the ghosts better than Master’s Sun did. Apart from these similarities though, the rest of this film is completely it’s own.

My only complaint? Cheating, even emotional cheating that doesn’t get physical, is wrong, and I inherently don't enjoy it in stories. I do forgive it in this instance, because I think both of our leads were appropriately regretful over the incident and did the right thing in the end.
