''Deep in my Heart'' has a fresh storyline and the plot was very well-written. However, there's something about all chinese dramas I've seen (including DIMH) that just seems off. I feel like they lack emotion. Like there are so many things happening and some of them are supposed to move me, to make me feel but that never happens. I can't get fully invested in the storyline and I can't bring myself to care about the characters.

The drama started off very strongly and it is very fast-paced overall. You are introduced to the main plot in the first episodes and then you just wait the culprit to be found. Well, it was pretty obvious who the culprit is since the first few episodes, but I was curious to see what the whole situation was about. However, somewhere in the middle, I got tired of watching it and I found it very hard to finish. It got too dragged in my opinion. They could have kept it shorter.

The romance between Yi Fei and Han Bing was the reason I continue watching despite being slightly bored. There was something about them that I absolutely loved. I wanted to see their relationship developing and I just adore how nice Yi Fei was to Han Bing. Han Xue was ruining their moments though, I wish they didn't include this identity disorder, the drama would have been interesting even without it. It's not that I didn't like Han Xue but I strongly prefer Han Bing. The secondary couple was also cute.

Zhou Chen Gao was perfect as Kong Yi Fei and I'm definitely going to check out his other projects. As far as I know, this is his first main role? He was amazing! Nina Wang did a fairly good job at portrating both Han Bing and Han Xue. However, her crying scenes were a bit too much at times. Caesar Li acted very naturally and I loved his character, too. My only problem was Cui Xin Xin as Xiao Zhen. She wasn't convincing at all. Her expressions lacked emotion.

So overall, Deep in my Heart is a nice drama. It has its flaws, but it's enjoyable enough for me to recommend it.

I picked up this drama as I was bored and there weren't many other dramas I was keen on watching. There seemed to be a rather low viewer count for this series as well. However, I was pleasantly surprised and definitely not disappointed by this amazing show that I continued to watch. The story was simple yet engrossing, the plot fast paced enough to keep you on your toes and anticipate what would go on in the next episode, the acting was really good, and the music was great as well. I loved the portrayal of the female and male leads, and the supporting characters really helped to flesh out this piece of art.

If you're free, give it a try! It's a really good show and I'd recommend it to any casual watcher. You never know; you might just get hooked.

The world will not be destroyed by evil, but by the silent cold hearted people

Story: Male lead undergoes heart transplant operation as a kid and since then he has the power of Psychometry- he can read the minds of people by holding their hands. Female lead suffers with Multiple personality disorder.
They both join hands to solve a series of crime.

It's not that simple. The moral of the story is: donot be a bystander when you witness a crime. Try to oppose it at the level you can do. Also, the fate is already written. Donot take law into your hands to punish the evil.

I have never paid attention to a thing- mental condition of organ recipients. They should not be bullied and they should be treated as normal individuals. I felt very bad for the character of Li Xin Rui.
The pace of the story is good, you don't feel like any scene is very dragging. I did not skip any scene(which is very rare).

Actors/Action: Thanks to this drama, I found another handsome actor. No, not the main lead, but his best friend the cop- Li Mao as Xu Gao Sheng. He looks super cool and handsome and dashing and all.
I appreciate the actor Nina Wang, the female lead, she did very well to show the difference between two personalities.

Another actor worth mentioning here is Wang Xin as Wu Yan. OMG!!! I have seen him as a sweet father in few dramas. But I didn't expect he could show many variations. That's the greatness of senior actors I guess. I loved him. His emotional scenes were really heart wrenching.
The male lead also did good job. He is your ideal friend/husband/brother material- a very very nice male lead.

I appreciate the director, because this is the first time I felt that a Chinese drama (crime genre) did not maintain the legacy of ruining last episodes (satirical). I liked it and I am satisfied.

If someone asks me for a crime genre c- drama, this would be my first recommendation.

A twist to a typical crime-thriller romance drama

I am very glad that I had decided to give this drama a try upon reading JojoOnDatBeat's CW article. I had originally passed this drama off as the poster for this drama wasn't attention-grabbing enough and the synopsis didn't hook me. After watching the first episode, I was sold and the rest was history.

Story:
I enjoyed the twists and variety of ideas that were added to this romance crime-thriller type drama. I was a bit concerned at first with what we were introduced with as it could have gotten real messy and crazy real fast, but I thought they executed it beautifully. I didn't feel lost or confused. I appreciated how the characters were briefly explained to us audience right from the get-go. The theme was also a good one and very obvious as it is repeated numerous times throughout. Every character served their purpose in my opinion - didn't seem like there were random characters placed for no reason. I was satisfied with how the story progressed and ended.

Acting/Cast:
I have never watched any of these actors/actresses in anything before so they were all new to me and I was pleasantly surprised at everyone's acting! Let's start with the FL, Nina Wang. She was a lot younger than I had thought when I looked up her bio as she has quite a mature appearance. I thought she did brilliantly with her role. I was never confused with her characters. She was convincing and showed the differences quite well. I would definitely watch her in other dramas if/when she participates in future projects (right now on her bio page, she's only in this drama and one other movie). Our ML, Zhou Chen Gao, was a gem to watch. His acting might put some people off but I found it endearing. He's got this boyish smile on him and I thought it was just so natural and fitting for his character. There were moments where he looks like he's about to crack a smile or laugh but it made it more charming and natural as I find myself doing that (smiling or laughing) during nervous or awkward moments as well. I loved watching his reactions to the FL during the times when he was getting to know her and still trying to figure out what's going on with her lol. During emotional scenes, his acting was able to bring tears to my eyes which I was surprised by lol. The supporting casts and all the extras also did an amazing job. To me, everyone put in their 110% as I believed their characters and felt what most of them were feeling.

Music:
The background music definitely did their job in heightening the suspense and thrill of the ride. There were only 2 songs I remember hearing in this drama and they were pleasant and fitting for the drama though nothing that really jumped out and grabbed me like some other dramas' OST did lol.

Rewatch Value:
I don't tend to rewatch a lot of dramas but if I was to introduce this to a friend and they asked me to sit along with them for the ride, I definitely wouldn't mind!

Overall, I enjoyed this drama. It was nice and short - didn't drag on and fairly fast-paced but believable. I thought the development of the main characters' relationship was quite natural and cute to watch! I would recommend this drama to anyone that ask whether it's worth watching. It might not be a masterpiece but it was definitely a solid drama in my books :)

I can easily call this one of my new favorite modern cdramas. This is also one of the only airing dramas I have watched in years. Usually I don't go for crime dramas but the serial murder case in this drama was really interesting. Add in psychometry and DID and you get this drama :)

Plot: Our ML Yifei is asked by his police friend to use his ability to see a person's past by touching their hand in order to solve a serial murder case while the FL curiously follows this case and updates the public through the news. They each have their own unspeakable problems/past which eventually draw them closer to one another. They work together to unveil the motive behind the serial killer, revealing more as the drama progresses.

Acting/cast: I've never seen any of these actors or actresses but they carried out their roles well! Especially Nina Wang and the serial killer (watch the drama to find out who it is hoho). Nina's portrayal as a woman with DID really showed her acting range and ability to portray completely different personalities. As for her actual character, Han Bing, I guess I would say her decisions were a bit exasperating (aka not informing the police in order to get an interview with a suspect and so on -_-). Also this drama has some very nice realistic/emotional/not cringy crying scenes (dad-son emotional jail cell convo ahem).

Music: Suspense music was well played, but other than that there weren't any songs that stood out to me. However there was one song sung by a character that was related to the case and it was pretty catchy lol.

Overall a nice watch with good pacing, please give it a try :)

This drama may have been Chinese, but it really reminded me of a Korean drama. And that’s a good thing! The production, plot, acting, pacing all seemed very much like a kdrama. Even the actor playing the main lead male looked Korean to me. My only two complaints were the somewhat abrupt ending and the use of a single mystery throughout all the episodes. I think for a police drama with supernatural tendencies it could have used a few side stories to hold my interest better. Otherwise I enjoyed it alot. I’m guessing it didn’t do well in China due to the lack of propaganda and unique storyline. I’m actually surprised it even got made! But give it a try if you enjoy romance with a bit of mystery, A supernatural element, and some multiple personality thrown in.

Crime investigation and lots of plot twists

How did I come across this drama? It doesn’t have any popular actors, and it did not get any airtime on Instagram or FB. I think I was just flipping through Wetv app wondering what to watch next.

This one is not popular but it has some essence. The production is good, no voice dubbing, no camera filters making the actors’ skin flawless and white;) The storyline focuses on an accident that happened 15 years ago, where a girl died and her organs were donated. The ML was given her heart, where he inherited a special gift of psychometry (able to read ppl’s minds and past with the touch of his hand). He meets a reporter who has dissociative identity disorder, and from there a whole new set of hidden crimes and mysteries start to unravel.

It started off really well and I was very intrigued. But somewhere between Epi 8-18, it lost its essence and I felt was going in circles. However, at the end of every episode there was such a twist that kept me wanting to find out what happened the next episode lol. I did fast forward a lot just to get to the end. Not much of romance going on, lots of drama and crying. The ML had to run A LOT... haha poor guy. His acting was pretty good though- more directors and producers shld use him:)

If you’re interested in crime investigation, plot twists and revenge, then you should be interested in this. No fluff, just some real acting.

My 3rd psychometric Male Lead..

Story wise, not so fresh. This is already my 3rd TV series with pyschometric ML.

The police profiler (sort of) and the crime beat reporter is also not so new. Whats really fresh is the ML who wanted to be a doctor but cannot, due to his psychometric abilities. And the FL with a dual personality due to ptsd.

Acting wise, it was good but i think the actors playing ML bestfriend and FL bestfriend acts better than our Lead Stars. But thats only my untrained personal opinion. Characters development is straight cut. Even early on, we know whos the good guys and whos the not so good ones. And when the villain is revealed at middle part, it didnt change until the end. No more twist and turns.

This RomCom series didnt make me laugh or cry. For a crime/mystery series, it didnt kept me on the edge of my seat or cower with the brutality of the angonist. But this one can also make my heart sigh. The loyalty of their friends, the sacrifices of a parent for an offspring. People always trying to be a better person. Finding love even though you think you're a freak. It has happy ending for everyone so thats enough reason for it to be worth the watch.
