Badass but adorable AF
I just wanted to mention both the two main women characters were drop dead adorable! Each of them were attractive in a different way, FL was tiny but feisty and I loved her short hair. The second female lead is almost otherworldly in her beauty and pulls off a very feminine look that just works for her so well!This isn't going to win any major awards, it's pretty much a fluff filler drama. The acting was slightly above average but you could tell there was still room for improvement especially in a few scenes where it was supposed to be dramatic and it just felt a little stiff and forced.
The kisses on the part of the FL felt like she had no experience, the ML was slightly better but they both definitely need real world experiences to draw on and it pretty obvious they don't have much of that. :/
Now about the general story, this is set up as a very badass female lead and for the most part she pulled it off well, though there were a few separate situations where she was made weak by the writers so that she could be "saved" by ML but for the most part HE was the weak one and she saved him and everyone else from start to finish. I loved how she had a great personal code of responsibility for the greater good and she was the same while in the army as well as when she was just a civilian.
Ling Ting (SML) is set up as a character to be love interest triangle potential for FL but don't worry that never really materializes and the majority of the drama is focused on the main couple's interactions and their slowly warming up relationship.
Fair warning in this 23 episode drama it takes 12 episodes for the main couple to be official and that's all I'm going to say without spoiling anything.

Incredibly slow and boring drama
Both Leads were lovely to look at bur totally dysfunctional. The female lead's father was awful. All of the characters were a bit moronic. The old friend who followed the female lead was cringe worthy. Whoever wrote the script must have been a high school student. It was so slow. There were great pauses while nothing actually happened. What a waste of effort and money. The male lead was lovely and had some charm but he was also a bit naive and a bit simple. The Butch Female lead character was attractive but had no real charm. Overall I watched it in some disbelief . What a shame. They need better scripts to show off their skills as actors. Sorry to be so negative. But this was dismal.Was this review helpful to you?
A Comedy/Romantic/Drama storyline.
The last two days I have been watching the storyline. I am enjoying watching it, but it drags in spots. Hong Xing Xing and Sun Mei Xi are portraying positive role models for women. No-one s jerking them around or getting in their faces. The main plot is kind of weak, but the subplots are better. So far I watched 3 episodes that could of been just one episode. There are some really funny parts and some are ok.Wei Lan(ML) is a immature, CEO, spoiled brat that doesn't get along with his father. For once, the male is a mumbling idiot. Hong Xing Xing (FL) is a a positive , strong willed family orientated former military person. Why the producers made them as a relationship couple, makes me scratch my head. There isn't any chemistry between them. If anyone would look at them they would say NO WAY! They look like the odd couple. When they look into each others eyes, it appears Hong Xing Xing to be saying really, I am hooked up with him. Sun Mei Xiand great chemistry with Ling Ting. The subplots where great and in some scenes better than the main plot.
The ending was kind of messed up. Overall the storyline was good and the acting was so so. watching it once was good enough, but if I had nothing else to do, I would watch it again to see what I missed.

A RomCom where the Female Lead is a tomboy and protect the ML. Newbies to Entertainment industry
Knight of the Rose is a short 24-episode RomCom where the female lead is an assistant to the male lead and a protector for him in dangerous and physical conditions.It is my first time watching Li Huan and Qin Xiao Xuan in leading/supporting roles. The acting skills of the entire cast are not great; however, I think Qin Xiao Xuan is the best one on the whole team.
At least he shows some vulnerabilities in some scenes where it needs to be, but he is also shy and clueless in others. The male lead has potential.
The female lead is cute, but her acting skills need improvement. It is an okay drama, and I give it a 6.0 rating.

Definitely a drama. Story was good and charatcters are mostly adorable. It could have been better if they were portrayed as older and not just 21-24 years old as it is very odd for a 24 year old to already be a company chairman/ military commander while one of the characters is 21 and is still in the university and will be for another 2 years. It doesn’t make sense how the hell they made great advances in their carreers at a very young age. Nonetheless it was still a good watch. The romance part of the main lead is a slow burn and they officially got together around half of the series.
All 3 couples were able to end up together and stayed as closed friends.
Glad to see both fathers of the main leads are heathy and happy in yhe end as well as the uncle who was forgiven by his daughter.

A very catchy rom-com with many actors from "Anle's legend"
PLOT: The ML, a young (and handsome) CEO is threatened by his rivals (internal & external). The ML's father, ill, hires the FL, a former elite soldier, as an assistant/bodyguard.PROS:
+ A bunch of excellent actors, young, beautiful and talented. I really like the 2 main leads (Qin Xiao Xuan & Li Huan) and the CL2.
+ It's very sweet, cute, light.
+ The production is dynamic, without length
+ The action scenes are well-done.
CONS:
- the coincidences are too obvious, there are a lot of clichés, the villains are informed of the best-hidden (private) secrets, the timeline is sometimes unrealistic** [[the final episode in particular ]], etc. but it's well done ( ｡◕‿◕｡ )
** The duration of clinical trials (including on humans) for a drug is reduced to a few weeks??
** A new drug which has authorization from the authorities, which has filed the patent and protected its formula, can be appropriated by another company??
** All it takes is knowing the password from a company's intranet to take ownership of all its secrets and confidential tests??
etc.
To appreciate this series, you need to be lenient with all these inconsistent "details" :) :)
=> This is a rom-com done right. It has all the elements I love- humor, cute romance, caring ML, strong FL, character development, heart-fluttering kisses, no draggy misunderstandings, a suspense that keeps you on your toes, and a satisfying and unproblematic ending.

Rom-com très accrocheuse avec de nombreux acteurs de "Anle's legend"
PLOT : Le ML, un jeune (et beau) PDG est menacé par ses rivaux (internes et externes). Le père de ML, malade, engage la FL, ancien soldat d'élite, comme assistante/garde du corps.
Bons points :
+ d'excellents acteurs, jeunes, beaux et talentueux. J'aime beaucoup les 2 protagonistes principaux (Qin Xiao Xuan et Li Huan) et le CL2.
+ C'est très doux, mignon, léger.
+ La narration est dynamique, sans longueur
+ Les scènes d'action sont convaincantes.
Les défauts :
- les coïncidences sont trop flagrantes, il y a beaucoup de clichés, les méchants sont informés des secrets (privés) les mieux cachés, la timeline n'est parfois pas réaliste**, etc. mais c'est bien fait ( ｡◕‿◕｡ )
** La durée des essais cliniques (y compris sur l'homme) pour un médicament est réduite à quelques semaines ??
** Un nouveau médicament qui a l'autorisation des autorités, qui a déposé le brevet et protégé sa formule, peut être approprié par une autre entreprise ??
** Il suffit de connaître le mot de passe de l'intranet d'une entreprise pour s'approprier tous ses secrets et tests confidentiels ??
etc.
Pour apprécier cette série, il faudra être indulgent avec tous ces "détails" incohérents :) :)
=> C'est une comédie romantique bien faite. Elle comporte tous les éléments que j'aime : de l'humour, une romance mignonne, un ML attentionné, une FL qui a du tempérament, le développement des personnages, des baisers palpitants, pas de malentendus qui s'éternisent, un suspense qui vous tient en haleine et une fin satisfaisante et sans problème.

Boring asf
This show is boring asf. Even though I love Chinese as a language I just couldn’t with this drama. For the past two months have only managed to watch only four episodes. I was even shocked all this time I was only on episode four haha.I didn’t like any character. The female character says silly things like: “ I’m high school I wish there was some girl who asked me gently if I wanna go to the bathroom together” wtf
The male lead has no backbone like literally he keeps falling all over himself. I guess the fl is supposed to be savior. Apparently she is some special force whatever, I’ve nth against girl power or whatever but if someone is gonna be a bodyguard, the best soldier whatever she should at least look like it.
