Maybe a video edit of the drama would have saved me the time

The writing is so bad I could complain about it all day and the production isn't that good either. The "doctor" characters are no doctors and the plot is a strainer from all the wholes it has!
But I did watch it all because the little boy is adorable and the concept of a previous marriage child was very intriguing but to my disappointment it wasn't used to it's full potential.
Overall: 7/10, not bad but isn't good enough, if it wasn't for the boy who carried the show and the acting of the characters which I loved, I would have rated it 5/10
Recommend: NO, just watch some edits on YT and save your time from the horrible plot and pacing.

Slow-paced drama

The drama is a relatively slow-paced drama, especially in the first half of the drama. It only really starts picking up after the truth behind the car crash was revealed. Overall, though, the drama was pretty good. Lennon Sun did a really great job portraying He Weifei (Xiao Bao), and Miles Wei's acting was also pretty natural. However, I wouldn't recommend rewatching the drama because of how slow the beginning is.

Please consider for season II

This is one of the best drama. The male and female leads chemistry are too good. I like that the FL has a strong character and not childish or too cliche. And the son is the cutest kid. Episode 18 confession is so touching and down to earth. Ost by Miles is so good.
It contains some comedy, some serious scenes, making this drama really interesting.
I cant wait to watch who is behind the car accident.
The rich family's daughter is very irritating. I like that the ML takes control of his own love relationship and not let his family decides his fate.

A imperfect but perfect story plot! Worth watching!

I know i know the title doesnt make sense but make sense at the same time....i have this type of drama which are usualy turn out to be melodrama (or heavy drama or too much) but this story is actually light drama...there are plots which could have twisted and hen number of eps would have been increased....and then stalling of the eps would have been there.

But this drama didnt have that...it is surprisingly a refreshing drama...this story plot lacks some kind of plot or narration...like as seeing the previous drama...you would be like making assumption that now this scene will have this but in this drama eother that scene wasnt there or it wasnt what we expected so its like have imperfect storyline but at the same time this imperfectness makes it good and cant stop admiring it....now all the episodes have been released...so its like if you start watching this...you will literally can watch it in one go...binge wayching it.

The cast has awesome off and on screen...i love the relationship between the ML and the kid...its so cute. The casting was done perfectly...each role suots the actor/actress.

The music even though they are not alot of music in it but its enough and its beautiful.

This drama is worth watching it....its cute how the relationship builds between three person that is the kid with his father( not his real father as the ML nephew is the kid but still) and the doctor. We usually think kid may not remember their childhood or may forget everything after they grew up but its so wrong as the kid was able to understand the smell and identify the lady who saved him and his innocence.

Its worth watching and i hope you all also like it!!

Filled with romance and has enough comedic value, but fell short in delineating the main conflict

Although already an overused plot, contractual relationships never get old. We always welcome dramas where this trope gets creatively re-used, and this time, it's in the form of a CEO getting into a contractual marriage with a child psychologist to help treat his son's PTSD. The drama hit it off with me from the get-go! It took a few episodes before the story set foot on the main plot — a very sane move 'coz the drama will surely appear half-baked if done otherwise. Of course, this cliché story will never be complete without our bickering main couple, their funny yet heart-fluttering forced skinship, until love comes into fruition in their pseudo-affair.

The whole casts are exceptional, especially our cutie-pie Lennon Sun who played the adorable Xiaobao. I heard Lennon was just 4 years old at the time of filming and that Unforgettable Love is his first drama, but I can never tell 'coz he nailed the role perfectly! If you can just imagine how I melted when I heard Xiaobao speak for the first time in the drama. He's grown on me ever since the first scene I saw him.

As for our main couple, I didn't buy the chemistry between Miles Wei and Hu Yixuan at first. But as episodes went along, I came to acknowledge how cute their pairing is! Their kissing scenes are not awkward to watch (they drove me crazy as a matter of fact). Miles, Yixuan, and Lennon's acting are well-coordinated that made them naturally look like a lovely family of three.

But then, as much as I wanted to give the story a perfect 10, the number of loopholes I tried to overlook in the drama (especially towards the end) is intolerable. The ending is sweet but feels rushed. The accident that drove the story into what it is wrapped up so prematurely. I still give it to them that the backstory is not what I expected. I just wished they gave us more narrative about it, tie up the loose ends, and round it all off. It's a pity that the drama's potential flaked out at the last minute. But if you're just in for the fun and will not try to overthink, I'm sure watching this will be an enjoyable ride. Just beware of the occasional moments offering secondhand embarrassment and sexual tensions giving pure cringe. Overall, Unforgettable Love is one cute and fun romcom Cdrama to binge on♥︎

If you liked Miles Wei. as a ‘professor’, you will LOVE HIM AS A DADDY!

If you liked Miles wei as a ‘professor’, you will LOVE HIM AS A DADDY!!!! ? ?

The plot is ur typical CEO main lead drama but for some reason, it did not feel so dumb, overbearing, and unreasonable (which u normally get from CEO dramas) …. Because the character was played well with CLASS. That’s the word and CLASSY is what you get from a guy like Miles Wei. He is fire!!!

There were scenes when he dressed down, and played twinning with his kid in the drama. Repeat button!!!!

This is the first time im seeing Hu YiXuan, i think she fits her role here just fine.

On a more serious note, Its interesting to watch because of the main characters/actors chemistry.
And to add to that, their baby xiabao is an adorable baby.

Great acting too. I dont know why but their breakup scene really got me crying. it wasnt Overacting. BUt it was so heartfelt. You feel for the bothof them.

The family will grow on you. And you’ll definitely end up loving them. ♥️
Unforgettable Love is my favorite Cdrama family.

Cute kid! female lead psychologist turns into mommy!

High hopes for this drama and to me it didn't deliver! The kid was so cute! The lead's got together pretty late into the drama at least half way... Its only 24 episodes!

Female lead is a psychologist, who is kind, smart and not afraid to standup for herself. Male lead is a cold CEO who is into investing in creating a tracking bracelet!. He has a son who doesnt talk due to an accident the male lead and the kid was in. The kid is actually the nephew. The car accident claimed the lives of male lead brother and sister in law. His son aka Xiao bao nows doesnt speak to anybody and doesnt let strangers come near to him!
( the little boy who plays him is so cute!)

Female lead of course becomes his psychiatrist and begins to treat xiao bao! Xiao bao wants her to become his mommy. The leads gets into a contract marriage! There are many cute moments between the leads and xiao bao!

As for the leads they got together so late ! Xiao bao could of done more to get them together faster! I anticipated more sweet moments but those were kinda few...

And of course there is more to the story of the accident ! Which made the story kinda weird and choppy! I wish they just focus on the relationship part more. Also kinda unnecessary to introduce a third female.... She didnt do anything to add to the story.

Overall its not a bad watch !

Easily one of the cutest dramas I've seen

First cdrama that I've watched in a very long time.

Cliche as hell, write got progressively worse I thought (felt like last 5 episodes were kind of rushed in terms of story? the leads somehow got a bipolar disorder every episode from #20 to #23). But everything else was excellent. Acting was extremely cute, really liked the kid & female lead. Tear jerking music, excellent rewatch value imo.

Overall, can't recommend it more. Hope there's a 2nd season (probably not since it was pretty conclusive)

Sweet and fluffy show if you're not looking for heavy plot

I enjoyed this show because of how sweet and light it was. It was a part of iqiyi's "sweet on" series of shows and it fit the bill entirely. The show is filled with tropes and cliches, both the good ones and a few annoying ones but I liked how they didn't drag any issues the main couple had out for too long. The main couple had good chemistry and I liked both of the characters. (The male lead is annoying at first but I promise he gets better quickly.) The child actor was so adorable and played his part well. The secondary couple(s) was okay, I wasn't heavily invested in their stories and the chemistry wasn't really there in my opinion. There isn't much to say about the overarching plot because I feel as though it was an afterthought that gets mentioned occasionally and then hastily wrapped up at the very end. This show is something you watch for the cute main couple and child and move quickly on from.

All For Kid

Quick Overall Summary
Unforgettable Love is a Cliche Trope Bingo. The RomCom drama at best is a B- rating, but has me coming back to find out what happens next. The writer team for this drama, literally went; "OK, let's use all the cliche tropes in CDrama...add all 20 Years of cliche tropes and see what we get. This resulted in all the scenes becoming which trope will be inserted next. I think there is a 5 page list of all the tropes used and to my inner conflict of saying NO to cliche, has me back for more (I think I am at Bingo#73). The drama is not a good drama, BUT was enjoyable to watch. Disregard the medical/doctor/hospital scenes as they made no sense in drama/real life and the CEO would usually tell medical advice to the FL who is a doctor/psychologist.

Quick Story/Plot
The whole drama revolves around the kid. The ML and FL are tied together because the kid took a liking to the FL at the beginning and wants her to become his mum. The ML, being the rich boss and father, would give everything for the kid. So he persuaded the FL in entering a marriage contract to support and help the kid under the pretense of the FL being the wife in name. From episode 2 onwards is when the Bingo game begins, the story does not flow anymore, but instead, scenes of which trope to bring out. Even after post production, often scenes would jump to the next and skip to the the next day without any notice (I think the production team did not care if it flowed anymore). E.g. One night they will talk about something important about the kid and then scene jump to the ML's office talking about his business. So don't bother if there is a logical flow of story, there isn't...

Quick Acting/Cast/Characters
All Characters are generic tropey, but fun to watch.
- The ML is a rich CEO who is stuck-up, smart, overly confident, demanding, (insert all other generic tropes), etc. but he genuinely cares for the kid. Often he would bring the kid to work or cancel meetings to rush to the kids side. Miles Wei played the character well in not being too overly bearing, but his character does get frustrating at times.
- The FL is a children psychologist who is strong-willed, clumsy and has a kind heart. She entered a marriage contract with the ML due to meeting the kid a few times and only accepted the contract due to peer pressure from the whole world and really wanting to help the kid. Often, I even forget she is a doctor since she does not act like a doctor and often other people tell her medical advises which was odd. Hu Yi Xuan really fits the character as she has this cute and genuine look to her.
- The Kid is a young boy due to a big car accident in the past left him not wanting to speak or interact with anyone. At the beginning he would use cards or a tablet to show his thoughts and eventually overtime, he started to speak again. The role was played well and the kid did a good job expressing his character's emotion without saying any lines. However, I do find the use of the cat noises everytime he wants to express something annoying after some time.
- Yang Ruo Wei and Wen Gu Side Couple are fun to watch.

Music/OSTs
Music is great as the songs really fit the RomCom Genre and that young love feeling.

Rewatch Value
Would not Rewatch.

Why my rating (7.5)
Rating 7.5 is the highest I would give the drama. Often, every 2 episodes I would be swooning and wanted to know what happens next, but every 3 episodes, I would be frustrated at the current story and roll my eyes saying:"Here we go with this trope now...". As mentioned in beginning, this drama is not top tier, but does the theme "Over the Top" well. The most memorable scene to me was the FL needed a crash course on how to dance for a business event and in comes the ML bringing in 6 dance teachers. The drama had six extras just for the scenes where 5 of them were just standing around which was quite funny. The drama literally took 'generic cliche RomCom' and multipled everything by 3 which is why it was so enjoyable to watch. I don't think I will recommend this drama to others, but if you are bored and want light-hearted (kekw) laughs or due to the actors/actresses, give it a go.

I thought the story would be boring since the main lead Qiao Yan was too techie and detailed but found it was somehow funny how he explaining in details. Xiao Bao was at first a problem child but cute and funny specially when he started to open with Yi Yue. Over all the story was worth watching, I was bursting in laughter in most episodes. I suspected the auntie to be the villain that caused the accident five years ago but was wrong. This is the first chinese drama i watched where I did't get angry or hated the female villain.
