Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Byun Jun Seo (Doyu) is joining his senior from the agency Sung Hoon in the upcoming K-drama Perfect Marriage Revenge.
On September 19, Byun Jun Seo's agency Stallion Entertainment confirmed, "Byun Jun Seo (Doyu) will be joining the upcoming MBN K-drama Perfect Marriage Revenge with the role of Kim Jae Won."
This will be the second upcoming K-drama of the rising actor. Byun Jun Seo will also star in the upcoming K-drama Heart Is Beating which will also be led by his senior Sung Hoon.
Byun Jun Seo made his acting debut in 2022. He made his special appearance in the series Woo Ri the Virgin. He first had his official role in the K-drama Alice, the Final Weapon which was led by Park Se Wan, Song Geon Hee, Kim Sung Oh, Kim Tae Hoon, and Jung Seung Kil.
The actor also starred in several K-dramas such as Unlock My Boss, The Fabulous, and Family: The Unbreakable Bond.
Perfect Marriage Revenge will be led by Sung Hoon, Jung Yoo Min, Jin Ji Hee, Kang Shin Hyo, and Lee Min Young.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Oh Sang Hoon (Cracked Eggs and Noodles) and Born to Kill) and writer Im Seo Ra (Feel Good to Die).
Perfect Marriage Revenge will base its story on a webtoon of the same name written by Young and Lee Beom Bae, and illustrated by Je Ri Bol. It will narrate the story of an unloved adopted child from a conglomerate family. She marries a man from another rich family whom she finds out, is in love with her sister. She then got into a car accident and died. When the woman woke up, she returned to the time when she was still engaged to her husband. This time, she wants to change her fate and take on revenge her family and husband. She decided to have a contract marriage with another guy from a conglomerate family. The woman wants only a contract marriage but the guy wants it to be a real marriage.
Byun Jun Seo will play the role of Kim Jae Won, a character who is resourceful and will play a key role in the twisted narrative between Han Yi Joo (Jung Yoo Min's character) and her stepmother Lee Jung Hye (played by Lee Min Young).
The upcoming MBN K-drama Perfect Marriage Revenge will begin airing on October 28, at 9:50 PM KST.
