Choi Jae Hyun will be added to the cast of the upcoming K-drama "The High Priest Rembrary."

The actor will be joining the confirmed casts of Kim Min Gue, Go Bo Gyeol, Lee Jang Woo, and Ye Ji Won in the upcoming webtoon-based series. 

"The High Priest Rembrary" is a fantasy romance K-drama about a high priest called Rembrary and his journey in living as an unknown idol named Woo Yeon Woo. He possessed the body of a human being and went to heart to fight against the demon. The series will depict its story from the webtoon of the same name.

Choi Jae Hyun's agency Glorious Entertainment confirmed that the actor will be joining the upcoming drama. 

He will portray the role of "Cash," a member of an unknown K-pop group and has a large fan base among teenagers for his unique charms and cute visuals. 

"The High Priest Rembrary" will be the collaboration work of directors Park So Yeon and Lee So Yoon and writer Lee Chun Geum.

The upcoming series will premiere on tvN in the first half of 2023.

This series will be the comeback of Choi Jae Hyun to broadcast channel dramas. He was last seen in the 2021 K-drama "Run On." He worked alongside ZE: A's Yim Si Wan, Shin Se Kyung, Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young, Kang Tae Oh, Park Young Gyu, and Cha Hwa Yun.

Choi Jae Hyun made his acting debut in 2019. He has starred in several K-dramas such as "He Is Psychometric," "Love with Flaws," "Sweet Munchies," "Dalgona," "Rookie Cops," and more. He also starred in the 2021 BL drama "Peach of Time."

Before Choi Jae Hyun became more active in acting, he first became known after joining the survival program "BOYS24."
