Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
EXO's Do Kyung Soo is confirmed to star in a new fantasy romance remake movie titled "Secret"!
On February 15, Hive Media Corp. announced that EXO's Do Kyung Soo will be the main lead for the upcoming remake of the Taiwanese movie "Secret". The South Korean movie will be about a former piano genius and a female student who plays mysterious music in an old practice room.
Hive Media Corp. who also helmed "Inside Men", "The Man Standing Next", and "Deliver Us From Evil", bought the remake rights for "Secret" long time ago. They changed directors several times and finally picked Seo Yoo Min to direct the upcoming movie. Director Seo Yoo Min wrote several films like "Happiness", "Outside", and "You Call It Passion". He's making his directorial debut with the upcoming film "Recalled" starring Seo Ye Ji and Kim Kang Woo.
The Taiwanese movie "Secret" was released in 2007 and was shown in Korea in 2008. Jay Chou and Kwai Lun Mei are the main leads. Do Kyung Soo will play the main lead role (Jay Chou's character) and the female lead will be casted through auditions.
After Do Kyung Soo completed his military service, he's been preparing for his other upcoming movie The Moon by the "Along With The Gods" series director. He will join veteran actor Sol Kyung Gu and actress Kim Hee Ae. It is said that Do Kyung Soo will be filming for "The Moon" in the first half of the year and 'The Secret' in the second half.
The idol-actor and EXO member will also reportedly release a solo album in 2021.
