Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
The upcoming K-drama Treat Me Carelessly is confirmed to premiere within the year.
On March 20, the entertainment company Fantagio Co. Ltd. revealed they signed a production contract for the upcoming KBS K-drama Treat Me Carelessly.
Fantagio Co. Ltd announced, "We have officially signed a contract to produce the KBS K-drama Treat Me Carelessly starring Kim Myung Soo and Lee Yoo Young. We are aiming to release the K-drama in May."
Treat Me Carelessly will base its story on a webtoon of the same name written and illustrated by Sun Woo. The K-drama will depict the romance between Shin Yoon Bok, a man from Seongsan Village who's equipped with Confucian ideas, and a woman named Kim Hond Do who is a modern female teacher who is also reckless with her life.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Kim Myung Soo, Lee Yoo Young, Bae Jong Ok, Park Eun Seok, Sun Woo Jae Duk, and Gu Hyun.
Director Jang Yang Ho will helm the upcoming series. He is known for creating the Drama Stage Season 3: I Object.
Treat Me Carelessly will exclusively air on KBS and it will have a total of 16 episodes.
Kim Myung Soo will portray the role of Shin Yoon Bok. He is born with the qualities of a noble scholar with his great wisdom and philosophy.
Aside from Treat Me Carelessly, Kim Myung Soo will also join the upcoming K-dramas The Worst Boy in the World and Perfect Family.
Lee Yoo Young will portray the character named Kim Hong Do. She is known for her reckless and straightforward personality. She will not give up on her dream and will create her path in life.
This will be the comeback K-drama of Lee Yoo Young after almost two years. She was last seen in the JTBC K-drama Insider. The actress will also star in the upcoming film The Firefighters.
