Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Hong Jong Hyun will reportedly join the upcoming Coupang Play original K-drama What Comes After Love.
On January 3, media outlets reported that Hong Jong Hyun will be joining Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro in the upcoming Coupang Play original K-drama What Comes After Love.
Hong Jong Hyun's agency Secret responded to the casting reports. According to them, "Hong Jong Hyun did receive the offer to star in What Comes After Love. He is positively reviewing the offer."
If Hong Jong Hyun confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming K-drama for 2024. Aside from What Comes After Love, Hong Jong Hyun will also make a special appearance in the upcoming K-drama Player Season 2: War of Gambler which will be led by Song Seung Heon, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Si Eon, Jang Gyu Ri, Tae Won Seok, and Ha Do Gwon.
Last year, Hong Jong Hyun was part of the K-drama Race. He also made a special appearance in the SBS series The Killing Vote.
Hong Jong Hyun is known for being included in K-dramas such as Stock Struck, My Absolute Boyfriend, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Vampire Idol, and more.
What Comes After Love will tell the story of a Korean woman who went to study in Japan and then returned to Korea after meeting a Japanese man and experiencing painful love and separation. The K-drama will base its story on the novel of the same name by Gong Ji Young and Tsuji Hitonari.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro. Hong Jong Hyun got the offer to play the role of Min Joon, who has been in love with Lee Se Young's character for more than 15 years.
What Comes After Love will exclusively premiere on Coupang Play this 2024.
