Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Lee Bong Ryun and Park Kyung Hye will also be joining the upcoming K-drama "Destined With You."
According to several media outlets on January 17, both Lee Bong Ryun and Park Kyung Hye will be added to the cast of the upcoming romance fantasy K-drama "Destined With You."
Lee Bong Ryun and Park Kyung Hye will be working alongside main leads SF9's Rowoon, Jo Bo Ah, Ha Joon, Girls Day's Yura, and Hyun Bong Shik.
This will be the second K-drama of Lee Bong Ryun for the year. The actress is currently starring in the K-drama "Crash Course in Romance" with Jeon Do Yeon, Jung Kyung Ho, Oh Eui Shik, Shin Jae Ha, and Roh Yoon Seo. She will also star in the upcoming film "Two Women."
Meanwhile, this will be the follow-up project of Park Kyung Hye after the tvN K-drama "Love in Contract." Aside from this, Park Kyung Hye will also reportedly join the upcoming K-drama "Heesu in Class 2" with Ahn Ji Ho, Lee Sang Jun, Jo Joon Young, Kim Do Yeon, Jeon Yeong In, and Yang Jung Ah.
There are no official details yet on the roles that Lee Bong Ryun and Park Kyung Hye will portray on "Destined With You."
"Destined With You" will be helmed by director Nam Ki Hoon ("Kiss Sixth Sense" and "Voice 3: City of Accomplices") and writer Noh Ji Sul ("100 Days My Prince" and "Scent of a Woman").
The upcoming fantasy romance series will reveal the story of a woman who obtained a forbidden book sealed 300 years ago and a man who will be the innocent victim of the forbidden book.
"Destined With You" is one of the confirmed K-drama lineups of JTBC this year. According to reports, the K-drama will officially air in the second half of 2023.
