Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Lee Yoo Joon will be part of the cast of the upcoming ENA K-drama Like Flowers In Sand.
On December 18, Lee Yoo Joon's agency Blade Entertainment confirmed that the actor will be part of the cast of the upcoming Wednesday and Thursday ENA K-drama Like Flowers In Sand.
This will be his fourth K-drama for 2023. Just recently, he made an impact in the K-drama Castaway Diva as Park Eun Bin's abusive father. He also made a special appearance in the hit K-dramas Mask Girl and Revenant.
Lee Yoo Joon also appeared in the movie My Worst Neighbor with Lee Ji Hoon, KARA's Han Seung Yeon, Go Gyu Pil, Kim Yoon Sung, and Jung Ae Yun.
The actor made his acting in 2009. He became known for being a scene stealer in several works.
Lee Yoo Joon has starred in several popular K-dramas and films such as Big Mouth, Taxi Driver, My Country: The New Age, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, While You Were Sleeping, Signal, Midnight, Dark Figure of Crime, Nameless Gangster: Rules of Time, and more.
Lee Yoo Joon will be working with Jang Dong Yoon, Lee Joo Myung, Lee Joo Seung, Yoon Jong Seok, Lee Jae Joon, and Kim Bo Ra in Like Flowers In Sand.
The upcoming K-drama Like Flowers In Sand is a youth romance series that will revolve around Kim Baek Doo, a ssireum prodigy. He was born as the youngest son of a prestigious ssireum family. Kim Baek Doo then decided to take on the challenge and join the traditional Korean wrestling sport of ssireum.
In the series, Lee Yoo Joon will portray the role of Kim Han Ra, he is the second brother of Kim Baek Doo. He currently runs a YouTube channel titled "From Taebaek to Baekdu" with ssireum content. He was a former ssireum player.
Like Flowers In Sand will be the collaboration work of director Kim Jin Woo (A Model Family) and writer Won Yoo Jung (The Lies Within).
The upcoming ENA K-drama will begin airing on December 20 at 9 PM KST.
