"Chief Detective 1958" Climbs Back to Double-Digit Ratings
The upcoming mystery thriller K-movie Following, starring Shin Hye Sun, Byun Yo Han, and Lee El as the leads, has confirmed its theatrical release for May and unveiled its first stills.
Following tells the story of a realtor, Gu Jung Tae, who witnesses the death of a social media influencer, Han So Ra, after sneaking into her home. He gets framed as the murderer and now has to find the killer and clear his name.
Byun Yo Han takes on the role of Gu Jung Tae, a realtor who has a hobby of sneaking into strangers' homes and peeping into their lives, using house keys entrusted to him by his clients.
Shin Hye Sun portrays Han So Ra, a mysterious influencer who is stalked by Gu Jung Tae. She lives the life of an Instagram star by posting fake posts.
Lee El takes on the role of Detective Oh Young Joo, who meticulously and persistently unravels the case of the famous influencer Han So Ra.
The first still features Gu Jung Tae holding a puppy and staring at the monitor screen in his real estate office, providing a glimpse into the life of a realtor who has a peculiar hobby of peeping into other people's lives.
The second still shows Han So Ra surrounded by branded fashion items, hinting at the glamorous life of the famous influencer while also sparking curiosity about her sudden death.
The last still shows Detective Oh Young Joo examining a dark house alone.
Following will premiere sometime in May.
