Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Shin Seung Ho will reportedly be the newest addition to the star-studded cast of the upcoming film Omniscient Reader.
On June 2, media outlet Sports Chosun shared that Shin Seung Ho is currently coordinating with the production team of Omniscient Reader after receiving the cast offer.
The upcoming movie will be produced by Realize Pictures, the same production company of the box office hit film Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds. It will be helmed by director Kim Byung Woo (Take Point, The Terror Live, and another upcoming film The Great Flood).
Omniscient Reader will showcase the journey of Kim Dok Ja, trying to save the world from Apocalypse through the web novel he read. Kim Dok Ja is an average worker who loves to read his favorite web novel titled Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse. When the novel mysteriously comes alive, he is the only one who knows how the world will end. With this understanding, Kim Dok Ja will do his best to change the story and save the world. The story will be depicted from the web novel of the same name by Sing N Song.
The upcoming film will be led by Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Min Ho, and Chae Soo Bin. Ahn Hyo Seop will play the leading role named Kim Dok Ja. Meanwhile, Shin Seung Ho got the offer to portray the character named Lee Hyun Sung.
According to reports, Omniscient Reader will begin filming this year. There is no confirmation yet on the official release date of the upcoming movie.
If Shin Seung Ho confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming movie. The actor is also set to join the films New Generation War: Reawakened Man and Only God Knows Everything.
Shin Seung Ho made his big-screen debut in 2021 through the movie Double Patty with Red Velvet's Irene, Son Ji Yoon, Song Ji In, Yoo Byung Hoon, and Kim Chan Yi.
