Question For MDL

I've been using MDL since about 2011. I joined in 2015. I currently have 4,686 episodes from 321 shows, and 330 movies, all actually watched.

I also have 103 Points, and Contribution Points:38lv1. Which I've never understood.

NOW, today, 2024-03-04, I got a "First Time Watcher Badge."

Admin gave a vague explanation of what Points are, but as far as I know, the point counter functionality is currently not active/ or bugged.
Contribution Point is very straightforward. You earn them when you contribute to MDL by adding new titles or people or editing existing title/people pages.

Badge is a relatively new feature and is still in the testing phase. Based on your activities on MDL, some events trigger to earn you badges. Since the functionality is still a WIP, they get reset.
