Still receiving emails after unsubscribing

What it says in the title. I have checked the not receive emails ever, and I still get emails every time someone responds to a comment or sends a message. It is annoying, it clogs my inbox when I only need notifications. 

Separate issue I guess but I always seem to receive double notifications, but that's less bothersome.
