Kim Chung Hoon is a South Korean singer, lyricist, musical actor, and entrepreneur. He is the father of actor Kim Soo Hyun. He graduated from Osan High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Korea Open University.

He was the lead vocalist of the rock band SEVEN DOLPHINS (세븐 돌핀스) in the 1980s and later became a soloist, releasing a trot album in 2009.

He now divides his time as a musical actor and managing his businesses.
