I loved this drama, it is definitely one of the top few historical dramas I have watched. It started off very entertaining, towards the middle there was a lot of drama which made it a little draggy. The drama touched my heart in many different ways, I felt the raw emotions of sadness, happiness, anger and so many more. The acting was really good and the filming, costumes were really a feast for the eyes. Everything was so beautiful. Everything ties together and flows smoothly in terms of plot. It was a real historical drama - unlike the recent drama and films that is more towards the modern side. There were moments when I felt that things were in place just to move the drama along. I think for at least a quarter of the movie I didn't like the male lead character, but I have to admit he was smart and could see through all the evil sides of other characters - which I think made the drama even better for me as the drama was not that unrealistic and draggy. I could empathise with the circumstances of the princess on many occasions. There was also a good character development for all the characters. Overall, I loved this drama and would definitely re-watch it again in the future. Make sure to keep tissues near you when watching this drama!
