I haven't seen any dramas for awhile so I had quite an open mind while watching it. I will try to be neutral but I am a huge Lee Min Ki fan, so that's there.

Let's start with the story. The mystery was pretty good and had an interesting turn. What I like about it, is that it didn't really try to hide the mine mastermind behind the plan and focused more on the motives and how the police is looking for the suspects. This was the true value of the drama, not necessary "who had done it", as the story simply had too many threads to focus on one suspect. It was really interesting to look for the clues together with the cast. The only problem is that the relation between detectiv Jo and Seo-hui was well... too open. In normal life no policeman would shere so many data with a normal civilian and let the civilian look for the clues by themselves. So you need to switch of the "rationality" a bit while following the plot but let's say it, it's a drama, not a documentary on police force. And the plot is still very good!

Now to the romance, which is.... so subtle that it is almost non existent xD Seriously, If you want a non romantic korean drama, this is it! I think I have never watched anything like this before. We all know that dramas are mainly about love and while the reasons behind some of the actions is love (parental, romantic, etc.), the purpose of the lead characters meeting is nowhere near there. It is such a fresh thing to do and I love it!

To the acting now, which is superb, really. Lee Min Ki cannot have a bad role, this man can play anyone and anything, this is somehow crazy how good can he be. Even in the drama itself, he has a bit dorky and mean personality at the beginning and it changes with the thickening of the plot. And the scene with his mother at the end, truly masterpiece acting. The rest of the cast was also very, very good. Lee Yoo Young (Seo-hui) character was a bit annoying but her acting was top notch. Yoon Jong Seok (Ho Gyu) totally killed it, he could look determined and aloof in one scene and then totally scared baby boy in another. I think I will follow his career from now on. Ohn Yoo Wan (Young Min) was terrific. His character was very tough to play and it really seemed natural, even in the first sceens when we don't know his intentions. The only let down was Lee Joon Hyuk as Yoo Dae Yong. Whit this kind of revelations later, his mimic was simply not there at the beginning. It's like he was learning what will his character be together with us viewer, totally opposite to Ohn Yoo Wan.

Generally, I enjoyed this drama a lot. Lee Min Ki plays in one drama per year and he always manages to choose something different or innovative. I enjoyed it a lot, definitely recommend and hey, it's on Netflix!
