This was nice and short and sweet. I tend not to like mini dramas as they don’t really give you enough time to connect to the characters but this was quite focused.

I don’t know who any of the actors are, I’ve never seen any of them before because I don’t generally watch kdramas, more Taiwanese. No one was awful, and the leads were cute together.

The romance was cute, cliched but I’m not going to complain about that! 12 mini eps is not the time for something too complicated.

I liked the concept; the music wasn’t overwhelming memorable (and lyrics never stand up well in translation); acting wasn’t noticeably terrible so overall I enjoyed, would watch again but maybe not for a while.

The overview of this show on Netflix wasn't that appealing to me and I mainly chose to watch it initially because I found at Jack Lee was in it haha.

I enjoyed it way more than I was expecting. The love story was very cute and sweet and the supporting cast were really engaging.

A couple of the subplots felt tacked on a bit but I could mostly overlook it. I was pretty unhappy with the resolution of one in particular. The chemistry between the two leads was great. I'd never seen Aaron Yan in anything before and really liked him, will look out for him again.

The middle drags a little but picks up towards the end. I stayed up way too late to watch ' just one more episode' many times so its pretty addictive.

Am expecting to rewatch!

This is quite possibly my new favourite T drama. I wasn’t expecting to like it, because I’d seen the female lead in something else and found her really annoying, and because Aaron Yan’s hair was distractingly bad in the promo.

But I was pleasantly surprised. Ok, his hair is distracting a lot of the time ???? but this was really good. It was funny (and sometimes sad) and while the story wasn’t earthshattering I was really hooked to see how things were going to play out.

It was pretty cheesy in places but I like that in a drama.

Not too long which is also a plus.

Acting was good, I was very invested in their characters. Liang Liang in particular was really good.

Some of the sub plots were a bit underwhelming and went kind of nowhere but on the whole remarkably well contained.

Would recommend if you like your dramas a bit silly.

So I watched this drama straight after watching Refresh Man, which has some similar elements (the flashbacks to high school) but is far superior so that probably didn’t help my feelings towards this drama.

The first couple of episodes were good? Then it got very dull for a bit but ramped back up towards the end. So it’s worth sticking out a bit of grind at the start.

Acting/characters - Everyone was ok, I really like the guy who played Yan Ze but he is better in Love Cheque Charge. I enjoyed the lead girls’ friends a lot.

Plot - too much of the plot could have been resolved by having a normal person conversation for this to really work for me. I had a few ....problems... with how some things resolved.

Music - I don’t even remember the theme and I only just finished this so not very memorable either - so not terrible but not amazing either.

Overall it’s not a bad watch - I did finish the whole thing without skipping any - but there are other better dramas too.
