Love love love the family gathering scene. The bickering between YQ and CF is so funny. Finally we get the story of the mortal emperor why he treated his daughter badly. Probably not the best solution but really typical solution.

I keep saying that the pairing of the lead and second lead couples are so well thought out. We can see that clearly in this episode. If they have been matched up the other way around, it would have been less fun and more destructive.

So many beautiful scenes in this ep: the sword practice, their kiss. It seems that they put lots of efforts to prepare for these scenes and they totally pay off. Man Man is such a reliable friend. ❤️

Sweetness overload. They made me giggle. It’s cute how they date. Some found it cringe, yet I find it normal. Is it now how you tend to behave around your first love? :)

How YT tamed Fiery is like taming a puppy 😂 It’s cute. Not used to his red hair yet but I think Fiery character is growing on me: innocent, kind and loyal.

The sound tracks of this show are top notch. I cried at the scene of ML’s death. He with his open blues are just so painstaking. And the OST fits that moment so well. Based on the trailer, look forward to the journey to revive him.

It’s horrible to see the ML to sacrifice while the rest just stand there. Should there not be some ways that they can support him? Also a bit tired of hearing the FL calling him heartless. But well they want to emphasize how he was. I get it but … if he is why would he does make such sacrifice.

I like that the ML is calm yet awkward, strict yet reflexive. The FL is mischievous yet reasonable. SFL is kind but not naive and SML is cunning yet filial. It is how humans are, having both good and bad sides. This show the skills of writer in developing characters that deserting from the simple depiction of purely bad or good people.

Some people compare the relationships between the main and the second lead couples. The main couple is a clear win for me as I don’t like liars (SML) but it means there is a big room for growth for him so i look forward to seeing how the lies unfold and how they resolve it.

So far all the side characters are very supportive, which is not common in this genre. I’ve enjoyed all scenes so far and did not have to fast-forward as I had to in other dramas due to annoying side characters.

The plot progresses fast. I like the matchup. Cold ML and bubbly FL. Mischievous SML and calm SFL. We are in for a great ride.

I have praised the acting of CXX and LLD endlessly, but I have to mention again here that how great they don't overact in their goodbye scene. How their crying was so authentic and soft, yet it tugged my heartstring badly. The ending is beautiful and hopeful, yet I want to see their physical reunion badly. Maybe that is their intention to make us longing for more. I will keep coming back to watch this show when I want to indulge myself in healthy couple relationships, warm supports from friends and families, and the top-notch acting of the leads.

Well, I will stay away from coriander for a while after this episode. Understand her pain but dragging the innocence into the revenge show is unjust.

I like how YT handled the Heaven Emperor. Let him live and repent on his crime. Our girl is so strong and was forced to grow so much after the death of QK. Glad that YQ is back to her side.

It's hard to forget each other when you memory is all over the galaxy. How I love that message and how YT helps YQ to recall memory through the sword fight and the creative message exchange :)
