I just finished this drama but I didn't feel wowed because it just feels like this drama did the bare minimum in exploring such a disturbing concept of being in a cult. This drama took the easy route and focused on Sang-mi being forced into the cult and her journey of escaping the cult and while she did an amazing job throughout the drama, it wasn't that original of a story. Ms. Kang who chose to join the "cult" because she obviously didn't believe it was a cult, story arch could have easily been a more interesting and an original arch for a drama because her character just had so much potential but it was superficially explored. The drama was very predictable and cliche despite it treading a new storyline like religious cults. Also, I expected some vein-popping thriller, but it was chill even though the eerie feeling of such situation remained. While the psychosis of the members was portrayed very well, especially through Sang Mi's father, the cult leader's character was really half empty for such an important character.

While this drama did not meet my expectations, I am happy I watched it because I found some new amazing actors (Seo Ye Ji and Woo Do Hwan) that I am excited to watch in other films. Also, guys don't expect a romance trope in this drama, it doesn't need one and it's better without one. The bromance was cool and while everyone fav may be Dong Chol, I just really had a soft spot for Man Hee, even though he wasn't the leader of the group, he was so kind and mature in a hidden way. My other fav, was Joon Go, the gangster or the "dog" even though he doesn't have that many lines, every time he spoke, he left you wanting to know more about him.

It's been forever since I wrote a review, but I wanted to jot down my thoughts..

One thing about watching old dramas is that it renews your love for watching dramas all over again. This drama was not the best drama, but it was not entirely bad. The story was interesting because you see the female lead playing the role that is usually given to the male lead. It was like a reverse-cinderella story even though it's not a rags-riches story.

It is about a star (A-list actress) and a regular guy (lecturer/writer) falling in love. I thought it was interesting how their lives intertwined. It started out so good, dragged through the middle 12-17 (so much annoying things happened that I was wondering if they were simply giving love too much value) but the drama begs the question: Is love worth its value? It was addicting and fun to watch.

You have a female lead that wants to be loved and a male lead that does not know how to love. It wowed me how such different characters could fall in love with each other. Their CHEMISTRY was always on point. The ex-girlfriend was so pathetic that it made no sense for her to continue to be in a situation that was hurting her own happiness, but did she care, NOPE! So many obstacles tried to disrupt the main couple relationship especially the overly obsessed manager.

Description of lead characters: The female lead character annoyed me through the drama, the only thing I liked about her was that she was a caring and honest-hearted individual. But she was also a selfish, immature, self centered, irresponsible, whiny person. She was used to getting what she wanted, so I can see why she was so spoiled, but I could never offer her my sympathy because she simply always behaved without considering the consequences.
Male lead- Smart, cold hearted, responsible. He was the rational one out of the two but sometimes I felt like he was too self-righteous.

The cast did an awesome job overall. But I did not have a preference towards any character.

Overall the plot was interesting, but the conflict was too redundant at times. I thought it could have been shorter. I tolerated and completed it because I wanted to know how the main leads life was going to play out. I recommend this drama if you want to hop on a dramatic rollercoaster with some talented, handsome and beautiful cast members.

I realized there was so many guest roles in this drama. Ji Jin hee was my favorite:)

The storyline was just unfair for me to finish watching it because the ghost was constantly taking over the human girl's life because of her greed and unfair death. However, it was supposedly ok for the dead to keep living and the living to constantly disappear because she was too cowardly to live her own life. Yes, it's a drama, and the ghost is getting a second chance, but no one on this earth truly feels their death is justified, so I could not see what this drama was trying to deliver to its audience.

In addition, this drama was hilarious and the romance was on point, but don't come into this drama thinking both the ghost and the girl is the main character, it's only the ghost hence the title which was my mistake. Also sometimes the drama was just jumping for one genre to the next because it would be mystery one minute and then thriller and then back to romcom. The inconsistency annoyed me, and I could not really come to like the main girl (ghost) because of her lies and her greed. The host was just too depressing and lacked any love for herself for me too like her.

However, I do compliment the romance, the comedy and the acting. But this drama was not for me, so I dropped it. When sometime has passed I might pick it up again. My only advice is don't think about this drama in a literal sense and you might just enjoy it.

This drama had all the qualities that makes a drama perfect. It was meaningful, intense, realistic, comic relief and exceptional actors. I never saw a story that was told like this and I congratulate them for having the best scenario of 2014. Alll the cast members, directors, actors and writers did an amazing job in pulling off such an amazing drama.

Plot- Yes, political corruption and school corruption are not unommon themes for k-dramas, but using the perspective of a parent who took matters into her own hands was definitely new. I applaud Kim Hee Sun for her splendid execution of her role as the mother. This drama defined the role of a true educator, a parent love for her child and the meaning of true courage. The best thing about this drama, although it showed the atrocities that most people usually turn a blind eye to, it was not a freaking sob story because it showed that people did not live their life to be pitied. They all just wanted to be heard!

Cast: I saw a lot of actors that I was not familiar with, but it did not stop me from watching it because each actor/actresses seriously displayed their acting abilities. Lastly, it was fun to see a cast where everyone complimented each others abilty.

Romance- If you are looking for a simple basic romcom, please don't watch this drama because it sheds the truth that their is nothing romantic about life. Yes, the drama is intense and don't get me wrong there is a cute snip of romance in it because in life everyone needs to be loved. Any love that formed was engaging to watch because it just happened naturally and I won't give any hints because then that would be a spoiler. Lastly, remember that romance does not play a major role in it because with or without it the drama is still exceptional!

The best thing about Angry Mom was its fast-paced speed, no loop holes and a nice flow. Worst thing was that I watched it while it was airing, so it was painful waiting for the next episode. I loved it and I definitely recommend it for others to watch:)

I'll start off my review by saying Ji Sung deserves best male actor of 2015 because his acting was so powerful that it was no longer just a show for me, but that somewhere far away someone was actually going through this. You could see how versatile his acting skills was because he brilliantly pulled off all his personalities. He did such a fabulous job because I was able to form a connection with him as an audience, BTW Ah Yo na was my favorite personality!

This drama was something I had never watched before because of its portray of the DID sickness which was both brilliantly and creatively done. Yes, the family drama and the traumatic childhood was not so different from other korean plots, but the way everything connected to explain the powerful love the main leads naturally played out was amazing!

I had so much fun watching this drama because of the different personalities and the crazy bipolar main actress. Yes, her screams and crying were annoying, and especially her yelling mad me want to slap her. However, it was understandable and you eventually get used to it because it was obviously meant so her character could play the moody bipolar character she was meant to be. I loved her so much, because within all her flaws, she makes you love her, as much as you love the main lead whom you are predestined to fall in love with. The other characters were also amazing because they played their roles so well. My favorite were Oh Rin on and the secretary. The only flaw this drama had were the damn flashback which was of course essential to the show, but I swear there was two or more that were repeated so much that the audience had seen it like a hundred times.

Last, but not least the soundtrack was perfect. There was one which was often repeated that made want to cry. I wish I knew its name. Drama was definitely a 10 for me and I definitely recommend it.

Wow, after two years of this drama being on my plan to watch list, I finally watched it. It took so long because I was too lazy to find a place to watch it. I loved this drama so much because it was so fun, hilarious and addicting. I can honestly say I never got bored watching it because it didn't drag at all and it was so unpredictable that my eyes were glued to the screen. The plot was very unique because it wasn't a cliche romance drama, a revenge or something that made me want to rip my hair out of my scalp.

The love in this drama between each of the characters especially my baby Ha Seon was so sincere that I never got tired of the situation life threw at each of them. The best thing about this drama was it made me laugh or warmed my heart through each episode. The chemistry was there for each of the characters even though the show was not like your regular romcom because it didn't focus on sexual desire but pure love. Also the male actors were so handsome that I wish I was Eugene throughout the show. I definetly recommended it for all to watch.

This drama was definitely different from the common plots k-drama usually depicts in their shows. In the beginning I loved how the show was going at such a such a slow and comfortable pace, even though others had made up their mind that the show was going to be boring. Boy, they were wrong!

This show made me laugh so much that my stomach hurt. As much as it made me laugh, I also cried my eyes out. I didn't cry my eyes out for petty reasons, like boy hurts girl and girl leaves boy, but because the psychological genre was properly executed in this drama. Also the actors had played their role so well that there was never a dull moment. Also the soundtrack was one of the best I have heard that I can't wait to download it all. Just because it has melodrama incorporated don't expect a tragedy, it had a beautiful ending. I truly recommend this drama for all to watch because it is a incredibly meaningful and beautiful drama to watch.

I did not expect to have so much fun watching this movie. It was hilarious, even though the title made it seem like it was only going to be really serious and nerve wrecking. The twist and turns were really unexpected, and it was done so perfectly that i couldn't wait to see what would happen next. Each characters were played out well by the actors and you could see how the actors especially Jung jae young and Park shi-hoo took their lines and made it their own because there was truly some good acting to make me immerse myself into the storyline. The action scenes were truly fun to watch even though they overdid it at times. The last few scenes were mind blowing because it kept me wishing i was in that scene to beat the crap out of someone that truly deserved it. I recommend it because you might get something more out of it, and a really good laugh:)

I don't think I have ever commented on a drama as much as I did for Empress Ki. I laughed, cried, screamed, giggled and felt some emotions I can't quiet put into words. I felt like I gained a new family which are the cast members and commenters of this show.

The story: 9; Two minutes into the show, I turned it off because I hated that a future scene was shown in the beginning. I was sort of being petty, so I continued watching it because the cast and synopsis was eye catching. While watching this show there were moments my heart melted and my vein almost popped. Even with a future scene in the beginning, this show was really unpredictable that I hated myself for watching it while it was airing. Usually in historically dramas there are scenes that will put you to sleep, but for this one you can't help but stay alert while watching it. The plot wasn't scattered or slow, but it was beautifully woven into a work of art.

Suspense: The background music for this show especially El Temur "theme" song had me shaking. There were times that I didn't stop shaking because I was too hooked on an episode.

Action: epic, sexy, cool and fast

Romance: this is what I like to call a girl had the best of triple worlds. Wang yu (ultimate fan), Tal Tal (the new love of my life) and Te hwan( a cute/obsessive devoted lover) Her chemistry with so so and so was too sexy and another unexpected so so and so was all I could fantasize about for some time. Best of all I loved her love when she felt love even though it felt forced/ weak in the beginning.

Cast: The entire cast was amazing. I loved everyone and actually missed the actors that played the villains because they were so great. I give a standing ovation to all of them. My ultimate bias was Nyang played by Ha ji won. No one could have played a better Empress ki. She was intelligent, a fighter, cold hearted, sexy, and she never failed me. Te hwan got on my nerves, but he's character was meant to be portrayed like that because of his upbringing. Wang yu and Tal Tal were too cool and sexy.

Negatives: Time, like how many months or years passed in certain instances, it played a lot with my emotions because some character were too fucked up (actually a positive b/c it kept me watching) or annoying.

Overall: 10; My love for historically dramas heightened because of this drama. Although it was a fictional account of Empress Ki life, I have never watched a historical drama that I wished was real, so my actors would never stop acting.

This drama just became one of my favorite taiwanese drama. I am in tears while writing this review. This drama is just so beautiful. I can't believe I never heard of it until one day, when I stumbled upon it on dramafever.com. The first episode captured my attention because it was so intriguing. I completed this drama because it wasn't your typical taiwanese drama even though the plot summary adds in memory loss.

The cast was splendid and the music touched my soul. I can't believe how gorgeous the main characters were. My favorite character was Yin Xia Mo played by Hus Barbie. She was so strong, blunt, (something you don't see in most female leads in T- dramas) amazingly talented and she looks like a life size doll. She's so cute. I loved the two main guys and their awesome (Looks), charisma even though they had some serious insecurity issues, but who can blame them they both had a lonely and loveless life.

While, watching this drama I felt like I was thrown into this fantasy realm of love and true desirement. It is a love story, but not your average one. You experience the best of both world by seeing how this love theory is played out through various emotions and events. It's a must watch!

This drama was so much fun to watch. Despite this drama being categorize as a melodrama, it made me laugh so much. It started off slow, not that it was boring, but anyways the slowness didn't last for very long. It quickly picked up from ep 3 and continued all the way to the end. This drama was very addictive and eye catching because it was just very unique with the characters and fantasy included in it. The plot, the little twists, the actors and the music was superb.

Honest truth I didn't think I was going to cry in this drama because even though death is a depressing thing it's a natural thing. I finished this drama with tears rolling down my face and snot hanging off my nose because I thought it was so perfect how every thing connected into one. It is a drama I recommend to everyone. I had this drama on my plan to watch list for 3 years and finished it in only 3 days. It's definitely worth watching it.

This was really beautiful. My heart feels really warm and giddy right now. I am so happy I finally completed this drama. There's people that keeps comparing this drama to Reply 1997, yes they have a similar theme, but they are not similar at all. I loved loved Reply 1997 and I also really love Reply 1994.

One thing I especially love about Reply 1994 compared to Reply 1997 is there is way more romance in reply 1994 than reply 1997

I really loved the diversity in each character and the difference in their dialects. Also I loved how they brought the parents from Reply 1997. Also if anybody is thinking of watching Reply 1997, watch it first because they appeared as guest role in Reply 1994.

This drama is sincerely beautiful. Yes, it was a very long journey, 50 episode this is the longest drama i have ever completed. It was really good. Let's break it down:

First of all, family dramas are meant to be very annoying and meaningful, but whose family isn't annoying. I love this drama so much.

Actors/Acting: A perfect 10
-Wow this the first time i ever fell in a love with a Korean mother in law, why? It's because Korean mother are played to be really evil in most dramas. Ujae's mom was the best. She always made me laugh, she was really warm even though she got angry at some parts. I really liked her.

-No one could have played Seoyoung better than Lee Bo young. I knew she was an okay actor, but she embodied her role so much that I actually hated her for it. She really did some genius acting in this show.

-Ujae (Lee Sang Yoon) was not only flipping sexy, but he was such an amazing actor. I loved him throughout the whole show. I really want to marry someone like him when I am older.

-The rest of the cast was perfect, funny and loveable. The twin brother (Park HAE JIN) he was amazing.

The story: Without, the cast I think I would have dropped this show. The one thing i hate are secrets and misunderstandings and this was the story frequent theme. Nevertheless, this show was so addicting because it was so interesting, so I couldn't even drop it. The writer and director were brilliant because they made everything make perfect sense.

Even before this drama came out, there was so much fuss about it. Why? The story wasn't new, but do you know how many hot ass guys was in it? Unbelievable right, and guess what, I already knew lee Min ho, Kim woo bin, Kang ha neul, Park shin hye, Choi jin hyuk, and my veteran actors:Kim Min Kyung and Jeong Dong Hwang. I was very happy because of the actors, so I was definitely going to watch it but not while it was airing. Failed on that promise, I started watching it after ep 14 aired. I tried so hard not to read the comments on this drama b4 I started watching it. Also failed on that promise. There was so many bad comments, petty fights, the ratings even dropped. It was hilarious, people were going crazy over this drama, leaving so many bad comments and some good comments, that I knew I had to watch it to judge it for myself.

I loved it, so I gave it a 8 because the ending gave me a warm feeling even though I might never watch it again until I forget everything about it. It's not that it was perfect that I will remember it, but because there was some parts that was way too annoying and freaking dramatic. But still I liked it because for goodness sake it's a cute drama. Drama! It's not real! Alot of people caught feelings for this drama and wanted to tarnish it. This drama made me laugh a lot, feel a little sad, annoyed, but then happy again. It was really cute and I liked that I watched it for myself.

Wow!This drama was unbelievable, I didn't think it was going to be this great b/c most of the actors were newbies. Nevertheless, the whole cast did an amazing job. I can say this is one of the best drama I watched this year. I wished this was the first drama I watched because it aired in 2011 and I started watching dramas in 2011. I loved everything about this drama. The music was beautiful and catching. The dance choreography was cool, I wish I could dance like them. I have so many songs I need to download on my ipod because of this drama. I loved all the actors, especially Suzie because for her first time acting she did a good job embodying her character. IU, Taecyon, Woo young, soo hyun and Eun jung also did a fabulous job. I loved all supporting roles, the teachers and the principal was awesome. Best thing about this drama is it made me laugh and fall in love with k-pop all over again. I recommend this drama to everyone.
