This drama is highly entertaining
The story is intriguing and they combine action, horror and romance genres to make this a nice thriller. I think I enjoyed it more than the other stuff I'm watching right now. The concept of this show is so unique and I wish more kDramas did this. I really liked the set-up of the plot but I think the writing became a bit predictable towards the end. I also wish they upped the ante and made this show even creepier. But otherwise, the action scenes kept me on edge and curious, and I was never bored. Also I loved the casting for this show and all the actors did a great job (not just the leads but also the supporting actors). I became invested in the side characters' storylines and wanted everyone to make it home safely. Overall, the highlight of this show was Park Seo Joon's character Jang Tae Sang, who was really charming and affable. He was the emotional tether of this show who the audience felt connected to and I don't think I would've kept watching this show if it weren't for him.Was this review helpful to you?
The Ultimate Romance Kdrama
This kdrama was the best kdrama I ever watched and it’s absolutely perfect ahhh ?. If you like romance kdramas, you must watch this. The plot was really exciting, unexpected, well-paced and I never felt bored watching this show. The actors were so talented and attractive and had great chemistry together. Ryu Sun Jae was especially dreamy and soulful… he’s really the ultimate lover. The production and writing was top tier and every episode left me wanting for more. The sets were so scenic and the music was amazing too. I really can’t think of anything I hated about this show.Was this review helpful to you?
ML is an uncommunicative and insensitive asshole
I'm quoting a line from someone else's Reddit comment to describe why I dropped this drama and why it's not worth your time: "I never once felt that the ml even cared a bit about the fl. He gives strong narcissistic vibes without the writing taking us fully there." This is completely true because the ml is so freaking toxic to the fl. Whatever issues the FL has, she doesn't deserve the kind of damage ML inflicts on her self-esteem without even telling her why. I really like the male actor from "The Good Detective", which is why this drama was a huge shame because it could've done so much more with its cast.Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet and Straight-forward romance drama
For me, this show was pure gold. There wasn't too much antagonistic drama and the plot focused mainly on the progression of the ML and FL's relationship.ML is a rude & immature but he falls for the FL almost immediately and tries to win her over. FL is sweet and professional, she's able to win over her enemies with her smile and friendly attitude.
ML's character arc made me especially fond of his character. He' becomes totally whipped for FL and treats her really well. I loved everything about the show, even the side characters.
Might not be for everyone. If you're not emotionally invested in the main couple like I am, you might want to skip this one.

I felt bored watching this show but I kept going on for FL
I absolutely loved the FL for her decisive and extroverted personality. She plays a strong and independent career woman who can, at times, be overwhelming like a whirlwind. I wasn't super into the ML but I appreciated his patient and considerate personality. Tbh, I found him a little bit boring and frustrating at times. However, the deal-breaker for this show wasn't the ML but the lack of plot which didn't allow the romance to progress properly. By the end of the show, I felt like their relationship was lukewarm at best and I no longer cared if they got together or not.One of the main reasons I had trouble shipping them was that there was too much will-they-wont-they going on. They kissed around episode 8 (I think), but the next day, both ML and FL agreed that their hot make-out session was "just a mistake". After that, things started heating up between them, but the ML ghosted the FL and didn't reply to her texts because he felt guilty moving on so soon. His ex-girlfriend cheated on him, dumped him for not confessing his feelings, and then gave him a wedding invite just to hurt him. Yet, when his ex called him to a bar and said she wanted to get back together with him, he ditched FL and went to her. Even though he went to break things off once and for all, he shouldn't have ditched FL like that since he had already agreed to be her date at a wedding.
Meanwhile, FL has already seen the nasty side of her ex, Juhwan, after they broke up. Juhwan cheated on her, gaslit her, blamed her for his cheating, ruthlessly dumped her, fired her from her job after she had a meltdown and then avoided her like crazy. Even so, she wanted to get back with him until a certain point and clung to him desperately. How does that make any sense????? And then when Juhwan wanted her back she allowed him to remain in her life as "friends". This backfired because Juhwan sabotaged FL's relationship with ML and guilt-tripped ML into thinking he was taking advantage of FL's vulnerability.
There are so many things in kdramas that don't make any sense to me, and the main leads' slow-paced relationship and inability to communicate is one of them. Every-time they take one step forward, they take two-steps back and try to date their exes. It's like they don't remember what happened just a few episodes ago. They are never true to their words and keep contradicting what they said earlier. Also, ML is so emotionally constipated and frustrating. FL gives him so many signals that she likes him, but he never says it back and keeps playing with her feelings. He's always overthinking things and is easily manipulated by the exes.
As a result, by the start of the last episode, the main leads are still not together and neither one of them has confessed to the other. All this drama was really boring and reduced the quality of this show. I only started this show because I kept seeing its clips on Instagram reels, and I continued because I was hooked in the FL's story. I have to say that Yoo In Na did a superb role in her role, and she was so charismatic and expressive. However, the plot was so unsatisfying that I regret watching this show and I kind wish I had done something else instead.
