Similarities:

1. Leads with a special power that gives them insight into other people.
2. A main part of both plots is finding out the truth behind a past crime.
3. Tough, cynical FL and a soft, gentle ML where FL stands up for and protects ML.
4. Lots of cute domestic slice of life moments, IHVY is cohabitation and MLL is neighbors.
5. Emphasis on the importance on truth and lies in relationships.

The story in IHYV is a more melo, faster paced plot with higher stakes, but it's a sweet romance about the transformative power of truly loving and always supporting someone. MLL is cute but it's much slower in pace and the story falls apart in the second half, you have to hang in there for the romance.

1. Complex revenge plot spanning families and generations.
2. A ML trying to save and protect FL that ends up being saved and protected by FL.
3. Deep dive into an investigative profession (law) that can be used to defend people's civil rights and justly punish crimes OR protect people in power and ignore the powerless.

But I Hear Your Voice isn't a good vs evil superhero story like Healer. IHYV is about how one person can't save someone (let alone the world) alone, it takes a community of people working together against a broken system to make it happen. Less escapism, more social commentary but still lots of swoony saving and epic story/characters arcs.

Both have:

1. A famous author ML who has a secret in his past related to a novel.
2. A hardworking FL trying to find her dream job.
3. A love triangle with an endearing, adorable SML.
4. A large cast of characters where love of books and writing are the common bond.

Chicago Typewriter has a fantasy realism style with magic and reincarnation and the characters have exaggerated circumstances but the story is a long love letter to books and relationships. Romance is a Bonus Book is more slow slice of life with a noona romance and semi-realistic drama but it's also about how people relate to each other through literature.

Both have:

1. A ML and FL who bonded through a past traumatic incident and were separated. ML searches for FL for years to protect and repay her.
2. Super sweet slice of life cohabitation where the leads learn from and heal each other.
3. A complicated sismance between FL and SFL.
4. A thriller plot with a shady figure from the past who has it out for the leads.
5. A fantasy feel but mostly realistic.

And written by the same writer! The romances feel similar since they're based on the deep trust and understanding between ML and FL. Both also have inspirational career journeys, a large cast of characters and some tragic situations, but are heartwarming stories about people overcoming adversity and failures in the system through helping and supporting each other.

Both have:

1. A lead that's suspected of murder whose name has to be cleared.
2. A poor FL who becomes a lawyer after lots of setbacks and struggles.
3. A ML that wants to protect the FL and is willing to make sacrifices to do it.

But Suspicious Partner is more tropey, silly and OTT while I Hear Your Voice is more serious, melo and shades of gray. Both have important things to say about justice and the law, but the characters and cases in I Hear Your Voice were better developed and the story overall was more tight and meaningful. Suspicious Partner is fun but the writing is weaker and the leads are kinda 2D.

Let's Eat is all about connecting to friends and family through food while the legal drama, noona romance and serial killer stories are sub-plots. It's light and comedic with some scary bits and is more a comforting slice of life watch than a romance.

I Hear Your Voice has the legal drama, noona romance and serial killer stories as the main plot while ML and FL sharing and cooking food for each other is their love language. It's very funny at parts but more serious, tragic and romantic over all.

Both:

1. Legal dramas that show the audience how the system in South Korea works: IHYV with public defenders and WYWS with prosecutors.
2. Have leads with lives tied together by a past tragedy.
3. Involve flawed people trying their best to help others in an imperfect situation.
4. Feature love triangles with a nice SML
5. Use supernatural powers to help solve cases.

The main difference is WYWS is an episodic show that focuses on the leads and their ability while IHYV is a complex revenge cycle that involves most of the characters in the main plot by the end. They also have different romances: WYWS is quick, light and cute with a bit of tragedy while IHYV is a slow burn big love, big obstacles and big payoff.

1. Both noona romances where ML loved FL for years but has to adjust to the reality of her as a person and FL realizes her feelings for ML are romantic and not friendship.
2. Both have a cute, heartwarming cohabitation romcom as a main feature.
3. Both have a love triangle in a slow burn romance.

So the relationship will feel similar in the beginning. But the genres are different and while Romance is a Bonus Book stays chill and slice of life in I Hear Your Voice it's mostly the romance that's slice of life and the rest of a story is an epic revenge thriller that plays out through court cases. It'll make you laugh, cry and constantly google info about the South Korean legal system. Recommended if you're looking for something more edge of your seat with a sweet noona romance to keep you hooked.
