Emotional abuse overload dressed up.

I saw the positive reviews after reading the synopsis so I was hopeful. It started out like the typical bad/rude guy meets sweet and innocent girl. The initial meeting was funny and I thought it would be good. But then we are introduced to our ML rude/demeaning behavior with the FL innocent one. It went on for 90% of the series and she foolishly liked him. “Do you think he likes you. Dream on.” “I had to choose between you and the other girl and I choose her”. Stuff like this on repeat.

I don’t know who wrote this but the series is a perfect example to use when educating women about what not to tolerate. It was degrading and they tried to make it cute. He didn’t treat her well and was demeaning and rude. He kind of liked her and was rude/bossy and demeaning. He liked her and was rude/demeaning then caring. I’m not lying.

If I had a daughter I would so not like this guy. There was really no way to redeem him. Then they both got into relationships with different people. Abruptly, no love involved.

Sorry. This was not good. What are they trying to tell young girls/women? It’s okay to like a guy who is demeaning, judgmental, bossy and cold. Just nope. Pic any episode between 2 and 4 and you’ll see an sample of what happens 90% of the series looks like.
