A satisfying sci-fi thriller

Is this show worth watching? Yes. Is it worth re-watching? "You betta believe it" (Xmen Gambit voice implied).

In my video review I give an in depth analysis of why this is a great show (link below). But here are some quick thoughts:

1. Yoon Shi Yoon's ability to convey different levels of emotions and portray 2 different characters (again).
2. The handling of the topic of grief and regret (Think Wanda-Vision)
3. An emotional gravity that you can't escape.

But what about the problems with the show? There are a few that I cover in my video review but overall they're minor in light of what works. As another reviewer stated, the show is underrated. Def check it out!

Wow! Is this show worth your time? Yes. What makes this show great? Is it the organ or the opera like soundtrack? Is it the choreography? Is it the story or the acting? Here are two : the casting and the ACTION! The casting of Ji Chang Wook as the lead definitely helped. But the casting of Song Yoon Ah is what made this show memorable. Loved the choreography and the fight scenes. They had a lot of cool action sequences. Does the show have some problems? Yes. But the good in the show, outweighs the bad. A fun surprise!

Watched this film with the wifee on a wim. Its the first time in a while in which I have watched a movie without watching a trailer and been pleasantly surprised. Its labeled as an action comedy but it could have had more comedy in it. The action sequences are cool and EVERY character is distinct in a way thats memorable! The film was full of good surprises and fun action sequences. This film reminds me a lot of Mad Max Fury Road. Both films were full of cool action sequences and felt like a ride (no pun intended). Def will watch again!

So what originally attracted me to this show is the idea that Bridal Mask is the first Korean made "superhero" that I am aware of. He is like a Korean version of Zorro. What made this show great. #1 is Joo Won as the lead character. He has an incredible acting range . If you think about it, Joo Won actually plays four different people in the show: 1. The guy he is before that thing happens in episode 5 with you know who (no spoilers). 2. Who he is AFTER that incident. 3. Who he pretends to be 4. Who he is when he finally takes up the mantle of __________(No spoiler). Another great thing about this show that I enjoyed was the relationship between the main character and other strong characters. Such as the relationship between Lee Kang To and his brother, and the high end prostitute. Those were all interesting things to explore.

But what about the problems with the show? For more on that, please check out my review of this show via the link.
