cute and sweet; excellent to watch right after Goblin, but ultimately forgettable

I, like many others who watched this show, was drawn to it because the actors' roles in Goblin broke my heart and I wanted to see them in something else (and possibly even pretend it was a Goblin spinoff). Touch Your Heart was exactly the zero-stakes fluff-fest my broken heart needed at the time I watched it, and Yoo In Na and Lee Dong-wook did a good enough job with what they were given. And although it was very sweet and very cute and I really enjoyed it for what it was it was (especially since I am now developing a bit of a Lee Dong-wook problem), it's ultimately a very forgettable romcom. Something good to watch if you want to be entertained but don't want to have to think too terribly hard. :)

Stunning in every way. Epic drama, epic love story.

Words cannot adequately express what an incredible experience watching this drama was. As this was my first c-drama I did not know what to expect, and while it took me a few episodes to fully understand the world it depicted it wasn't long before I was completely mesmerized.

Orchid's love for Dongfang Qincang humanized him and taught him how to be good. His love for her helped her find her inner strength. These characters' evolution throughout the show was nothing short of astonishing, and I loved every second of it.

Beloved romcom tropes done brilliantly

This show proves that when you take well-known storylines and write them well, the result can be delightful. Throw in an incredibly likable and talented cast and you have magic.

Business Proposal is an ice cream sundae of a show with a sweet delicious cherry on top, and I am enjoying every minute of it. The second leads are just as delightful as the main characters, too! I'm sad this show is only 12 episodes, but I also realize that if they made it a full 16 episodes and delved more fully into some of the characters and their backstories it would take away part of what makes this show so much fun.

I am sad this show is almost over but I look forward to rewatching whenever I've had a bad day.

a balm to the soul

This charming show about two dimpled sweethearts dancing around their growing feelings for one another in an adorable seaside town is literally the best medicine ever invented to cope with our stressful lives. The supporting characters are fully-realized people, and I was invested in all of their lives from the first episode. I watch most of the show with a huge grin on my face, and finish each episode happier than I was when I started (though things are starting to take an angsty turn now that we're at episode 6).

The only thing I don't like about the show is only two episodes come out per week. Waiting is torture. I want to inject all of it directly into my veins right this second.

Takes the novel and elevates it beautifully

I read the novel this show was based on, and while parts of it were beautiful the detached writing style, and the introduction of certain storylines later in the novel, made it difficult to connect with some of the characters (particularly the younger generations). The show's decision to tell the story in a non-linear way--introducing us to Sunja and her grandson and their particular challenges at the same time, and weaving back and forth between them--seems to be a good one. While Solomon's storyline is always going to feel lower-stakes than Sunja's, I feel a connection with him I never did in the novel.

Two episodes in all of the performances are top-notch (including Lee Min-ho's, which I know people had been nervous about) and the cinematography is great. The intro credits -- the music, the way the characters are dancing together-- is nothing short of astonishing.

I look forward to seeing how the rest of the show unfolds.
