I fear I may never shut up about this Drama. A HIDDEN GEM. TRULY AN ICONIC MASTERPIECE!

So underrated! I’m telling you, when I decided to watch the first night, I only planned to watch the 1st episode to set the mood because it was already late. But I end up watching the first five episodes ? The chokehold this show has on me was something else. Honestly, the tension drives me and they showed that even in the first meeting of Dr. Chen and Chief Jiang. From then on, I knew I was gonna love it and it really didn’t disappoint. Exceeded my expectations actually. The visuals, the acting, the tension, the story and of course the undeniable LOVE these two have for each other. The actors did a superb job. I've never seen a more perfect casting than this. I keep posting snippets and frames of the scenes I love on twitter but nearing the end I stopped because the hype was peaking and I just can't stop watching. I have no complains but even with the censorship, I’m glad the writers still put bits and pieces to hint their TRUE FEELINGS for each other. Some even we didn’t think would pass censorship. Haha! Their story stayed true to the theme. The way they constantly save and take risks just to stay by each other’s side was unconditional. And if pushed to the edge, willing to die for the other without a second thought. So many good moments and I just know I will be replaying my favorite ones. Production was good, cinematography was on point and I love the scoring and OST so much. That made the beauty of the drama really flourish. I'm a little late to this but please show love and support for Killer and Healer and give it a chance. It's really worth the time. I can't get enough of this Drama!

The fact that I couldn't stop watching one episode after the other until I finished it in one sitting, tells me that this one is so good! I loved the series so much and I'd definitely watch it again. Yes, we all wanted more "BL scenes" but that completely depends on how you view "BL" to be. I gotta tell you, I too was hoping to see some of those explicit romance but nonetheless, if you read between the lines, you can clearly see the chemistry and the love formed between the two main characters, Gu Qing Pei and Yuan Yang. For me, "BL" is not just about skinship...it's also about love that forms trust, security and how much your partner has changed you for the better. That's why for me, this is totally BL! I love seeing their relationship grow and for me the pacing is just right. I you pay attention to those two, you can really see the hints that they're starting to develop feelings for each other...and it was just so sweet! I must say, the actors really done a great job...everyone was believable. One thing I didn't like is how the last part of the ending was pretty rushed. I kinda wanted more of a redemption for the two main actors especially Gu Qing Pei. Don't get the wrong idea, I love the ending, but a proper reconciliation I think could've added a bit more feels into it. But if anything else, the way they hit if off in the last part shows that their bond was just strong and pure as ever that nothing has to be said despite everything that has happened. ^_^

And just to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, Gu Qing Pei and Yuan Yang never had any love interests aside form the ones pursuing them. But the feeling was only one-sided and they remained single. But although the two never dated each other, but in the end, decided stay with each other, tells me otherwise. <3
