I found this drama very entertaining. It is meant to be a comedy and although it touches on very moving subjects, it never fails to be hilarious! All the characters are very well played and very funny. They are all silly in their own way and although the plot is rather redundant, the entertainment the characters give makes up for the rather boring plot. Near the end episodes of the drama, I found it particularly funny when Unubore sang his own theme song. If you are looking for a drama that is a good solid dectective plot then this is probably something you would not enjoy. But if you like comedy (not in a sophisticated way I suppose) then you would thoroughly enjoy this drama. :)

If you're looking for a lighthearted drama, something that's really funny and silly, then this is the drama for u. After a drama slump, or if you're looking around for a jdrama to watch but you don't know where to start, I'd definitely recommend this. Nagase is hilarious, but that's no surprise there. His character, Unubore, is so silly it's just so endearing. Each episode has Unubore falling in love with a criminal, and leaving them with an ultimatum each time. However, he's always left disappointed with their choice.

I thought the first episode was kinda boring, but after that it really grows on you and finds a place in your heart. Unubore's antics throughout the drama have me rolling. I just can't even deal. He's too ridiculous it's adorable. His dances, his "Ore wa ore da!", he even starts singing his own theme song.

Unubore Deka has a great cast, and it's just fun to watch. It's just a fun time waiting to be had. I loved the ending so much, I couldn't decide whether I should rate this a 9 or 8. The plot is interesting enough, but it's everything else that really makes this drama gold. If you love Nagase, you definitely have to check it out. If you've enjoyed Kudo Kankuro's previous jdramas (Kisarazu Cat's Eye, Tiger & Dragon, etc.), you'd probably like this too since he also wrote this.

Unubore Deka is just a good time. I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for something not so serious, but still has substance and is funny as well.

The mix of Nagase Tomoya, Ikuta Toma and Kudo Kankuro already had GOLD written all over it. This is a quality Japanese comedy detective drama with a very good mix of everything. It doesn't try to be over the top and each episode has its own flavor of fun.

It is very entertaining especially with Unubore-san and his silly antics. The Unubore 5 are enjoyable to watch when they are together and even Nishida Toshiyuki-san contributes to the sillyness of everything.

You will also look forward to every end of the episode.

For quality comedy in its finest, this is a must-watch.

This drama is hilarious, amusing, and so entertaining! I saw a couple of episodes of this when it first came out in 2010 but dropped it due to a lack of subs. Four years I finished it and it is totally worth the time. The drama is comical but you there is a dual nature to the acting. It feels as if you can take the characters seriously yet not at the same time. The cast which consists of Nagase Tomoya, Toma Ikuta, Kaname Jun, Nishishida Toshiyuki, Nakashima Mika, and many other big names, ALL made the show shine. Although this is an episodic drama, the acting really pulled through and kept your attention. Oh by the way, there is a reference to Manhattan Love Story (also a great drama!) if you can catch it. The leading man Nagase Tomoya has proved himself to be a fantastic actor due to his gestures, and the way he has said the dialogues. The music for this drama is so addicting and suave that I'm sure you'll love the songs! My favorite line from the show is when Unubore says, "Ore wa ore da!"

Hey, hey, hey, let me start off by saying this is definitely an under rated drama, Tomoya is amazing in this drama. This is the second drama with him I've watched and I gotta say I'm quickly becoming a huge fan. Tomoya's comedy style is so fun to watch and Unubore Deka is no exception.

Story: I felt some spots in the story were weaker than others Which is why I gave it an 9, but overall it's pretty good. Watching Tomoya's character try and find love with all the wrong women is bust out loud laughing hilarious. As mean as it sounds watching him fall for women and watching him get rejected by them is equally great. Even though the premise is a bit repetitive the writers find ways to change it enough each time so as not to make it plain boring to see over and over, as every episode he falls in love and is rejected in the end. Honestly I just couldn't wait to see in every episode how our love scorn hero was going to confess his love and then be rejected next. The Plot is ridiculous and I loved just about every second of it.

Acting: Tomoya is as I have previously stated, amazing. The other actors were very good as well, but Tomoya stands out far ahead of the others. Despite there being some great characters in this show, namely Unubore's father played by Nishida Toshiyuki. The back in forth between him in Tomoya's Character as father and son is just hilarious. Nothing says fatherly love like a father using all the most intimate details of your life to turn a profit.

Music: There wasn't anything that made me want to rip my hair out every time I heard it, so it was good. I also loved the confession song and the rejection song, they were really good picks.

Rewatch: Definitely! It's already become one of my favorite dramas.

Overall The story of the love scorn detective falling for all the bad girls is hilarious, but also has a lot of heart. As despite these women's crimes they are forgiven by Unubore and at first you feel it is because he's a bit of a love scorn moron, but really it's because he sees them not for who they had become but instead who they really are... good women who just made the wrong life choices. Okay, so maybe one or two were just horrible people, but the rest just made bad choices. I hope if you read my review and decide to watch it, you enjoy it as much as I did.

In all honesty, I only watched this drama for the cast! Nagase Tomoya, Ikuta Toma, Kaname Jun, Arakawa Yoshiyoshi, Nakashima Mika, Muro Tsuyoshi; the guest actors/actresses for each episode was just a surprise bonus! The story itself was nothing like I've ever watched before, although it did get a bit predictable in some ways, it still maintained the story line of a detective drama. The ending was not at all like I would have guessed! I definitely recommend this show for people who are new to Japanese/foreign dramas; the witty humor and unique personalities of each of the cast members is magnificent! A definite must watch if you like to laugh, too!

This is a weird kind of drama that's supposed to be watched as a comedy, because it's hilarious, and not as a serious one, because it has too many flaws.

The story of each episode gets kind of repetitive. The style is exactly the same one for each episode and you just have to get used to it. Every episode's story is simple, full of plot holes (which is really bad for a detective series) and predictable. Some episodes were mediocre and some others were somehow good. Nothing much to say, except that the last episode is really something.

The acting was good. Nagase's role was hilarious and the general cast was funny although the characters weren't really interesting.

The music was really good. The soundtrack and the insert song were really good and fitting. Didn't like the ending too much though.

If you're looking for something really light, where you don't need to think about anything, just sit there, watch and laugh, then I definitely recommend you this one.

Funny drama imo. Great if you are a fan of Tomoya Nagase. Supporting cast is amazing as well, even the guests stars are funny.
