long fake discription is irritating

A genius patissier, with talent far beyond his years, Han Do Woo is a chef unparalleled in the world of pastries. The master chef of his own bakery, it’s often been said that if one is lucky enough to enjoy one of Do Woo’s pastries, one’s own wishes are sure to come true. With such rumors floating around, it doesn’t take long for Do Woo’s mysterious bakery to become the talk of the town.
In Reality he make shitty pieces of garbage, even starving dog wouldn't eat.
Only Bread ? in this whole drama is found in title.
Ugly lusty women come to eat shit to stare at a minor looking boy gives lolita vibe

Best Thai BL of 2023

I'm late to this show because I'm not a fan of historical dramas.... but let me tell you this... I was bored during the holidays so I decided to finally give it a go after seeing so many people talking about it.. Nonkul and Bright delivers masterful performances and the supporting cast really impressed me.. I am engulfed by how good this show is and I hope more quality content like this comes out of Thailand.. I do think this was a weak year in BL for Thailand... but this show has given me hope and it is now easily in my top 10 all time BLs.. I love shows that deal with social issues head on and the premise of this show felt so fresh and exciting for the genre.

Hella Toxic!

In one sentence, they're toxic! Kiyoi doesn't deserve Hira. Hira is too good for kiyoi. Kayoma is the Hira should be with. He is the only one that treated Hira right.

Kiyoi never loved Hira, he just loved the attention he got! They both were mentally fucked up! He was just searching for the attention he never got from his parents. He thought Hira was selfish because he never asked how he felt! But he's the one who never thought how his behaviour is hurting Hira. Even he badmouthed about him to his co actor.

On the other hand, Hira had no self respect! Kiyoi treated him like shit still he kept giving! He probably loves hurting himself! If this is love, then it's better to stay away from it!

The only person loveable here is Koyoma! He really cared about Hira and even after being rejected, he thought about his happiness! Hira and koyoma would make a great couple!

soundtrack #2, find meaning between love and passion through music and relationships.

Soundtrack #2 is definitely one of those underrated series and how it was also a different type of trope than the first season. I love how it goes and how it was really realistic to think about relationships as lovers. I have never felt the way the characters or even in kdramas, but I could feel the reality of this one. The first season was friends to lovers, but this one was from lovers to strangers, to vice versa. I love how the point of the plot was really present in their story. But not really comparing both seasons but I love their composed story in a different aspect of love. And also, really appreciate the development of the female lead from this season. How Do Hyun Seo grows apart from her past heartbreak, defining her purpose from her love between relationship and passion to music. Furthermore, the love story between Do Hyun Seo and Ji Soo Hon was a great chemistry and love their development due to hardships, passion, and their purpose. I'll not make this note too long, but in a short of time, I really appreciate the second season and how it delivers a good and comforting purpose as a viewer :)) How I wish it must be longer like 8 eps but it was just a short process of learning their path and where they belong back together... Added it to my favorites <3

I really love the casting here. But felt quite sad not all had great on-screen time duration nowadays since kdramas nowadays only have short duration of episodes not exceeding 16 eps. I love Geum Sae Rok's role from here ever since my first encounter with her from a kdrama series as a supporting role from Class Of Lies. Love how she entered the main role!! I also loved her character from here and I don't think I hated her from the beginning because every choices someone could make has a purpose in life that even Hyun Seo can't blame herself from struggling.

Next, I love the two male leads, Steve Noh as Ji Soo Hon and Demian as K. I really can't tell them more about it yet since I discovered them first from this drama especially this short series was Demian's first debut role and I appreciate how I discovered him first and in an earliest time!! Phewwww Steve Noh was really handsome and I fell in love in his role from here and their chemistry with Geum Sae Rok was amazing! I really love both their roles from this drama and how they portrayed and played it well. Hoping that Steve Noh and Geum Sae Rok will reunite with a new romance drama :')) Rooting the main casts future project roles!!

Those where the reasons why I love this drama, and everyone needs to give it a try. I think patience is the key and try to learn and understand the female leads choices :)

This drama 100% deserves the hype

In a time when we are suffering from a over-saturation of content and less than mediocre stories, particularly related to people with superpowers, South Korea has released MOVING and proved there's still hope for the genre.

Like its tittle the story is in constant move, not only pushing forward but going back to different timelines to give us context o our main characters and how the things happening in present time are a direct consequence to the past. Technically, MOVING is perfect. One of the strongest points is definitely the editing and this can be seen in the way the story jumps from one year to another but you never lose track of what's happening nor leaves you confused. There are gaps to fill but with other episodes that will give you answers. The score complements the actions and emotions of the characters to perfection.

The performances are top notch and it's not surprise considering this drama is stack. If you have been watching korean dramas or films for a while, you will recognize even the most random character or one-episode-cameo it's performed by an award winning actor or actress. These people have a reputation for a reason and they deliver in every scene, with a look, a touch, a smile or a punch that will push you through a wall. For some characters in the drama literally speaking.

Zo In Sung hasn't starred in a drama since Dear My Friends (2016) and I am so glad this is his return to the tv format. In MOVING he delivered a nuance, charming and badass performance that in the hands of another would have fell flat. His character's entire existence it's what pushes most of the story forward: a person used as a weapon to kill but all he ever wanted was to live. The big mystery of the drama it's to find out what was his fate after he got separated from those he loves.

Ryoo Seung Ryong remains one of the most compelling actors of his generation, giving us the incredible story of a good man lost in life until he found his purpose and redemption. His storyline, full of gore and violence, was actually a tender love story about how far a man will go to protect his family. Marvelous.

Han Hyo Joo's character could have easily fallen into the Smurfette principle but no. She's an equal to the men who love her and those that want to kill her, with a very strong motivation to keep herself on the top of the game. This character's loneliness comes through every scene she's in, bottling everything up in order to be strong for her family but you can tell she's waiting for a chance to be free and, most importantly, for her son to be able to live freely.

Ko Yoon Jung, Lee Jeong Ha and Kim Do Hoon are really promising actors, particularly considering they hold their own while performance with so many household names. I think Kim Do Hoon and Kim Sun Kyun probably gave one of the most heartbreaking yet beautiful stories in the drama.

Like I mentioned before every single actor in this drama brought their A+ game face but I would be doing a disservice if I didn't mention Kim Hee Won, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryoo Seung Bum, Park Hee Soon, Yang Dong Geun, Jo Bok Rae, Park Kwang Jae, Kim Joong He and, of course, Kwak Sun Young. She in particular was SPECTACULAR.

None of these characters are one-dimensional, they are not defined by the label society wants to put on them. They are all joined together by the experiences, hardships, love, motivations and ambitions they share. At the end of the day, related or not by blood, they are a family. Even the so-called enemies.

MOVING it's absolutely worthy of the hype that surrounds it through all social media and news outlets putting in the category of one of 2023 best tv shows. I only regret I didn't have the time to watch it sooner so I could have add it to mine.

Uhm...what is going on?

I was quite excited when I started this series because I heard there was going to be a Korean remake and I wanted to know what all the hype was about plus I loved Zee in Cutie pie!
Then came the storyline which was all over the place but I could forgive that because I thought the acting of the main couple was superb! But alas, if a story is so bad not even a good cast can save that...
The storyline is supposed to be a parody of your typical BL but instead it is yet another bland cliché. Even the serious topics it tries to discuss are overdone and unoriginal takes. As for the story, you know it and *I* usually love it! But this time? No.
Boy has a rival, and the rival pretends to be a rival but actually secretly has a crush on him and they get forced proximity and slowly start to fall for each other whilst everybody and their mom ships them together. And this happens twice. Talk about original!
On top of that it was not clear to me at first who the actual main couple was (surprise, it is not Zon and Saifah who we meet in the first few episodes, no it's TutorFight who are supposed to be the main couple). And this did not get better as towards the end of the series, THREE other side couples appear who I honestly could not care about less...
The characters do not have any consistent development and the pacing of the series is also wayyy off towards the point that I have no clue how long they've been together at the end.
...on top of that, episode 13 starts off with Fight sexually assaulting Tutor???????? I don't care that Tutor was obviously still in love with Fight and only broke up with him because of Fight's father what the actual f*ck! AND NO ONE'S TALKING ABOUT THIS ?????????? HELLO??? I THOUGHT WE AS A SOCIETY MOVED ON FROM ROMANTICIZING SEXUAL ASSAULT AND BORDERLINE RAPE. I'm very disappointed in this series and sad for the cast who deserved a better story.

Wow what a great drama i love it♥

Wow what a great drama. It is true that this is a historical fantasy drama, but at the same time it has historical truths that are correct for that time and it was fascinating to watch it.. Great acting and casting of the entire cast... a drama that has everything, laughter, crying, love, corruption, political upheaval, friendship and sacrifice.. There is no doubt that actress Shin Hye Sun is extremely talented and has versatile acting ability. The plot manages to maintain tension throughout the episodes, so that you immediately want to see the next episode, all the characters from the main to the last functions (including the servants) develop their personalities gradually.. highly recommended drama 10/1

Who the heck is writing this story

First impression: Very very questionable decisions taken by FL throughout the episodes that makes you wanna question whether the writer was high while writing the story or they think audience is pretty naive to accept it all.
What irked me - being stalked for many years but still you (FL) won't share it with your family.
- No bodyguards even though you can easily afford some help.
- Walking alone on the streets at night despite danger to your life.
- FL doesn't ask police to help her but prefer to go to some secluded place.
- Instead of taking some evidence (like photos) she always leaves the scene and doesn't even confront her husband or friend.
What I liked- It is Jang Na Ra's genre.
- Loved the intensity of the show. Just first episode and everything is like bang boom boom.
- Suspense is really good the moment you think FL has figured out everything then things again go down the drain and everyone is sus again.(despite all those dumb decisions by FL you will be on the edge of your seats.)
- Actors are doing really good. Loving our 'Go back couples reunion.'
- No comments on storyline, too much is happening so it is little confusing to comment on it. Lets see how it will unfold, I have high expectations from Jang Na Ra. Show is watchable so far.
PS: The drama has created a web of twists and turns that it itself got entangled in it badly. Despite having amazing cast the storyline is really very bad. I am contemplating whether I should lose my remaining brain cells trying to understand the plot and continue it or just drop it now or wait till I hear that the plot has progressed well and it was not that bad after all. I doubt the latter though with each passing episode. This show could have been really very great if writers tried to do something different (we are all inundated with same type of plot already) and like sane people instead of justifying questionable decisions of actors, they could have made the story more realistic with some character growth. (sigh)
In conclusion I would suggest people : watch it at your own risk.

girl what

the actors were just about the only good thing in this show. i have 2 major complaints:

1. the romanticism of mizuki’s sexual coercion is horrendous. i know that’s pretty common in bls but that doesn’t make it any better, plus it’s not even used as a form of “character development” here because he keeps it up til the very end. i firmly believe they could’ve made the plot just as, if not way more, compelling by removing the whole obligatory sex thing and all the scenes where mizuki forces himself onto yoh.

2. the plot goes absolutely nowhere, in fact it goes in circles. every time it seems like they’ve communicated their feelings and things are looking up, one of them (usually mizuki) overreacts about a misunderstanding and then they’re back to square one. even by the end they haven’t communicated their feelings properly and are just in another lull phase whilst misunderstandings continue to brew underneath.

Hardwork always pays off

It's my first time writing ✍? a review but I want to share my thoughts ?

First of all, the chemistry b/w Cheon ki beom and bae gyu hyeok was really nice to watch

Coach's clumpsiness was worth watching

And in case of new members, they showcasted their presence quite nicely

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING that was really worth watching was the the movie based on the real event
I really didn't have any idea that it was the real story so it is really inspiring

I hope you all enjoy it ?

how it went

Well I was literally heartbroken after watching this drama. I couldn't get myself together for weeks and I was asking myself and the universe why it ended like that.
But...
Overall the drama was great and I will recommend it.
It reminded me of my high school years and I felt that I would gladly return to them to experience similar love. A slight twinge of jealousy. The only problem would be watching this drama again, I'm afraid I wouldn't get my act together again, so I'm waiting for the right moment in my life just to destroy myself again.

............................

Tian Qi/Jing Yuan (Liu Xue Yi): Tian Qi, a True God, his power origin is Demonic and Water, so he is also Demon God and the God of Water... A carefree, mischievous and fun-loving God but a little impulsive and sometimes narcissist.. haha! He and Shang Gu have similar personalities... He manages Demon Realm... ~Sen Yu (Second Prince of Demon Realm),
~Chang Qin (Princess of Fox Clan),
~Xuan Yi (The Devil God and once designated Chief God of Chaos),
~Sen Jian (Demon Emperor),
~Jing Yang (First Prince of Heavenly Realm), and
~Yuan Qi (The only son of Bai Jue and Shang Gu)....

................................................................
Acting and Chemistry:
................................................................

Xu Kai and Liu Xue Yi's portrayal of their characters is breathtaking...

Xu Kai was great as Bai Jue and Qing Mu although I don't like Bo Xuan's part much but it was good as well. As Bai Jue, he acted well as a cold and distant God who treats everyone fairly but can silently sacrifice his all for his love, and as Qing Mu, he did amazing as a aloof Immortal who knows to pursue his love without concerning the world... Xu Kai made the two characters really different with his acting skills that you won't feel these both characters played by one single person. He made Bai Jue my favourite character...

Liu Xue Yi impressed me with his remarkable performance... Tian Qi is my favourite just after Bai Jue... and I am so grateful to makers to not turning him in "typical toxic second male lead" who is obsessive... He loved Shang Gu but knew what are the limits and when to give up...

Zhao Dong Yu was amazing as Shang Gu in the first and last arc of the story but I feel her acting plain as Hou Chi...

Zhang Jia Ni did an extraordinary job with her character.. she truly made me hate Wu Huan from the bottom of my heart that I wanted to slap her everytime...

The chemistry between leads can be considered decent and above average... I loved the chemistry between Feng Ran and Jing Jian.. it was just wonderful...
The relationship dynamics between Bai Jue and Tian Qi are very interesting and fun to watch...
Other actors also did beautiful job with their characters and are worthy to be praised...

................................................................
OSTs, Costumes and CGI:
................................................................

OSTs are pleasant and extraordinary.. these have secured the top place in my playlist. The lyrics fit the story and scenes perfectly and make me cry every time I listen to them... "A Thousand Years of Search" and "The Thought of Life" are my favourite...

"I am willing to search for thousands of days and nights; Waiting for time to meet again in your eyes..
Exchange a lifetime for a second of encounter; It would not be a pity if it can be accomplished.."
~A Thousand Years of Search

Costume are really beautiful and gives a aura of grace and divinity.
CGI is great and appealing.... The magic spells, the power from the divine weapon, all look real...

................................................................
Conclusion:
................................................................

Ancient Love Poetry signifies the patience, dedication and loyalty in love without compromising the duties and responsibilities one has to fulfill...
The wait of sixty thousand years and dedication of Bai Jue for his love Shang Gu along with his devotion for duties towards the three realms are exceptional and heart-touching... I'm actually very tough to cry while watching a drama.. but this made my tears rolled over my cheeks... even after rewatching it many times I still feel the same heartbreak every time....

"She turned to ashes,
separated by life and death;
He protected the three realms for her...
The thought of life is still ringing in my ears;
Once again, this passion has no limits and will never be extinguished"
~The Thought of Life

................................................................
Ending and Recommendation:
................................................................

I was thinking it would be a drama with a sad ending, but the ending touches my heart. It was a beautiful happy ending that I never expected...

To be honest, it might feel a bit boring to many in starting and one could feel like dropping it.. but I recommend to must watch at least 8 to 12 episodes before you make the decision to drop, otherwise you'll miss a fabulous drama...
I would recommend everyone to give it a shot...

Solid drama with great acting: some of the incarnations stole the show !

Death's game is a series about a man who decides to kill himself and is therefore forced to play an horrific game with Death herself (or at least a personnified version of it) as a punishment for insulting her while committing suicide. He will be reincarnated in several individuals facing imminent death circumstances and needs to find a way to survive in order to win the game imposed on him.

The idea of the series as well as the visuals and production value are really great. You are totally immersed in the drama and it is super interesting to follow. The soundtrack is not overly present but I enjoyed a lot the songs ending each of the episodes.

The cast is fabulous. The incarnations are played by good and different actors, each bringing his own touch and nuances to the role with their characters' own unique background. So far, my favorites stories were the ones of the 3rd, 5th and 7th incarnations. And the most traumatic for me was the 6th one...I really was impressed by the way the stories are somewhat interconnecting within each other, making the bigger picture more and more intriguing.

The series is not totally without flaws. I personnally do not like as much the parts that are set in the limbo with the main male lead and Death chatting and bickering. Those parts are critical for the set up of the story, as well as to see the evolution of the main character as he goes through failures...But I think they are missing something to make it as captivating than the incarnations scenes. I would have loved also to be more invested in the romance side of the story but the ending of Part 1 improved on that.

I would recommend this series to people that are looking for a thriller with a fantasy twist. Given the topic, this drama can be very triggering and is super violent. There are some elements I wish would be better developped but it is overall a very solid show which manage in only four episodes to keep you on your toes...It is never easy to review a series at the halfway mark, I hope the second part will successfully manage its landing because Part 1 raised my expectations.
